Yea, she is growing on me more and more. She has done a lot more than I have ever done, and that is for sure. I would just like to see her come out of her shell a little more.

That's the way it was at the gig. Not only was the band too loud, but their sound was badly distorted as well. Too bad, because Lisa Marie's performance was great.
Lisa is the queen of rock!!!!Not because she is Elvis daughter..that has nothing to with it..truth be told I never liked him.Lisa is brutually honest.Her voice is amazing.Her lyrics are out of this world.She is beautiful and real.I saw her live 4 years ago I cried.I was so happy to see her and I cant wait for the new album
@lisamariekicksass She isn't releasing a new one. She said she is done with music. That was just a thing she did to kind just get it out to the world that she wasn't JUST like her father. She's too busy raising her kids anyway.

Yes, she did a free concert in City Hall Park in lower Manhattan and then did a signing for her just-released CD "Now What". The last song she played in the set featured Marky Ramone on drums. She's a very cool woman and I agree - it would have been easy to make a career out of being Elvis' daughter, but she chose to go her own route.

@kinskilee she is using her father. Why go into singing when you cannot sing and when you are in your thirties? It must be because she wanted to say she has done something on her own and she failed like she has failed in everything else. The only thing she has done half right is being a Mum.
To me her true talent is in her eloquent & unique songwriting ability. I for one respect that she has never tried to ride her Dad's coat tails or make a quick buck by doing his music. Instead she has made her own little path.
My biggest complaint is I wish she wouldn't always drown out her vocals with over mixed/loud music. It makes me wonder if she still doesn't trust in her voice, and she should IMHO.
