$605 BILLION in FED Subsidies

GROSS TOTAL....

$1,055 billion in subsidies provided through the exchanges & related spending!

Partly offset by $167 billion in collections of penalties paid by individuals & employers.

Net reduction in federal budget deficits of $104 billion over the 2010-2019 period (10 Billion a year savings???)

BUT.... subject to substantial uncertainty.

...Consequently, CBO expects that the legislation would ***slightly reduce*** federal budget deficits in the decade (2019 to 2029) relative to those projected under current law...

with a total effect during that decade that is in a broad range between "ZERO" and 1/4% of GDP!

3962 Incomes from enrollees towards their premiums in 2013 INCREASE

3962 Federal subsidy payments would grow somewhat MORE slowly

3962 projected play-or-pay revenues are lower than they would have been under the previous assumptions!

3962 does NOT include changes to sustainable growth rate mechanism for setting Medicares payment rates for physicians services!

...3962 expands eligibility from 133% to 150% and covers 91% INSTEAD of 100% of Medicaid "newly eligible" enrollees!

...3962 does NOT include increasing payments to primary care physicians under Medicaid ($60 BILLION over 10 years)!

...3962 w/ the larger expansion of Medicaid means that FEWER PEOPLE would be eligible for coverage through the exchanges!

Too true!!! H.R. 3200 shows plainly on pages 427 & 428...

"Program for orders 4 Life Sustaining treatment - is guided by a coalition of stake-holders..."

But I just finished going through the CBO's Report on the Pelosi proposal... and it's ONLY gotten WORSE in contrast of the 3200 Bill!

But I'll post a few of the comparisons on here if you're curious.....
