now thats beauty and talent in one package what a voice!!! Today, we chose to listen to the best of the worst - as opposed to the best of the best. cause today there is VERY little that can be labeled TALENTED.
Frida for me is one of the most iconic singers of our time. Just listen to that sublime voice- who sings like her nowadays? This coupled with her amazing looks and metamorphosing style makes her a true legend.
I'm from Costa Rica and I love this woman, I love his voice is very sweet. I'm a fan of ABBA, but mostly I love Frida, she is wonderful. Thank you for your voice to sing for us. Thank you my dear princess.
i remember she's being considered an a little eldered pop star age 38/39 at the time. Today even Kylie is three years older and still a sex symbol. How times have changed !
It seems to me that Anni-Frid had the chance to exposure her talent whe she had gone for solo. I like this song, especially the beginning. She has a warm yet sometimes sharp voice that she never showed in ABBA. On the other hand: ABBA will be the best pop band ever!
Niece performance! Good song! Fridas voice is really great! Very 80's hairstyle, but that was very modern and trendy at that time. The dress is still very elegant.
Thank you very much for your kindness.. I really appreciate all the lovely comments you gave about Her Serene Highness Princess Anni-Frid Reuß von Plauen. She really is fantastic!! - All my best to you!
I love this song! Frida sings it just enchantingly good-heh! She is so delicate and looks so young and here is soo damn damn damn sexy!(noyt a lesbian)LOL:)
I think that was because I didn't have any videos up yet. I'm trying to rectify that now. Shawn told me to rise like the phoenix. He's really missing that Fridalicious playlist! Guess I'm going to have to put it back up again.
This song was originally recorded in October 1984, at the German show "Na sowas extra" hosted by Thomas Gottschalk in Augsburg. I was there and backstage with a group of Frida fans, who had made the trip from France. She invited us backstage signed autographs in her dressing room for a brief chat. Bjorn and Benny were also there to promote "Chess" at that time. If anyone was there with us, please post a reply. I would like to get back in touch again.
It wasn't until Frida's husband died in 1999 that I first purchased the "Shine" album, partly because of the bad reviews I'd read. Mostly I was afraid I'd be disappointed. I now regret that choice. This song in particular brought me to tears when I first heard it considering the circumstances at that time - still does. Amazing how that works. There's just something about Frida that moves me.
Oh God! This song brings so mauch memories to me. My father gave me this Frida's MC-tape when I was just a kid. I have thought of this song so many times but it has been years and years since I've heard it. It's still so beautiful!
This is the most beautiful Lady and song ever. She is just georgious.
