  • If I show you my dark side.......will you still hold me tonight....Pure Genius.

  • MUSIC GODS

  • dioses de la musica ! pink floyd

  • my life

  • the schoolmaster!

  • the better song of PF

  • Класс! Эта группа будет жить вечно

  • BUT, I LIEK CHOCOLATE MILK!

  • 2:05 ----> epic!!

  • Both are gems, but ...

The Gunner's Dream > The Final Cut

  • Somewhere old heroes shuffle safely down the street

Where you can speak out loud

    About your doubts and fears

And what's more no-one ever disappears.......

  • I dont know why, but this songs makes me remember the person I was in love for a long time and until today I did not get over it, I cry everytime I hear this song because I want to remember her even knowing that I wont have her.

  • @TheCloust true....true

  • that is... magnificent...

    just magnificent...

  • the music at aour seventh minute is pretty similar to confortably numb chorus

  • fun fact: The man in the beginning is the teacher from the wall movie

  • @mejesusuyouape Of course i didn't read the discription...

  • While I hate what Roger was doing to the band at this time, this album ranks as my #2 PF favorite.

  • Two masterpieces.... Pure art... poetry...

All you want is to listen to it again and again...never gets old.

  • a musica the final cut é mto boa!

  • Does The Final Cut remind anyone else of Pigs on the Wing?

  • @camarorider67 no not really lol

  • lovely 2:08 min!♥

  • MARAVILOSO...

  • Great album!! Roger Waters has a voice of pure brilliance and lunacy.......

  • Comment removed

  • I love Floyd but they're so fucking depressing ! Where's my Smiths cd to cheer me up ffs

  • @sproutyDP Try to focus on the Pink Floyd albums instead of the Roger Waters Band albums then. You'll find a full range of emotions and can skip past the sad songs if you wish - which is nearly impossible to do with any album where Waters has the lead.

  • I looove this song

  • this is the musical equivalent of a muramasa sword.

It has a spiritual attachment built into it,

    which cannot be denied.

Beyond words to describe its magnificence.

  • emotions+fellings+history+musique=pink floyd

roger is a great creator in music.the final cut is a master piece.

and yes,me too gets chills every time.

  • Earth will prevail, anyway.

  • this dream is driving me insane.

  • pink floyd are pure art. chills

  • Just amazing.

    Makes me cry.

  • awesome again :-)

  • and hold on to the the dream!

  • somewhere old heroes shuffle safely down the street

  • THIS VIDEO MAKES ME OPEN MY WEAK SIDE

  • 02:00 God damn son

  • Heath Kirtchart!

  • and no one kills the children anymore

  • ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

  • The part where he says hold on to the dream and then his words morph into the Saxophone, is awesome. I put that up there with the guitar climax in Echoes, or the fishbowls line in Wish you were here...

  • @maximino27 My thoughts exactly also ;-) materspiece by the masters :-)

  • @maximino27 Pure magic isnt it, gets chills everytime,,,,

  • @maximino27 ,,,,ROGER WATERS,,,,,only ROGER WATERS can do this,,!!

  • @ericjurado6 i think Syd Barret could come pretty close

  • @nickster6661 ,,,,THIS WAS ROGER WATERS "FIRST SOLO ALBUM"....WAS THOUGHT AT THAT TIME,,,I THINK IT IS....THE SONGS AND THE CONCEPT OF THE ALBUM,,,,!!

  • @ericjurado6 Yes, the rest of the guys had very little input to it, and I think Rick Wright wasn't even in the band at the time. While this album is awesome, I think the rest of the guys can reel Roger in and make his concepts and lyrics more melodical. Where his straight solo stuff lost some of that. Bottom line, they needed each other.

  • @ericjurado6 what this was pink floyds last studio album together

  • @nickster6661 pink floyd sucked with syd. roger turned them all into legends

  • @pooptypants1 Are you shitting me?? Syd brought the inspiration to the band. If it weren't for Syd, they wouldn't have had anymore albums after he left. At Syd's funeral, they said "The music we played after Syd's departure from the band is just complete rubish compared to the music that Syd brought to the band." Syd was the heart and soul of Pink Floyd...he is always truely missed.

  • @avenged4life100 oh, were you at the funeral? Every funeral I've ever been to( and I've been to quite of few since I do military funerals for a living) the person who died gets made out to be a saint by everyone who knew them. Its just a kind thing to do. Yea, he started it all, I'll give him credit for that, but his songs are insanely retarded.

  • @maximino27

it's simillar to sheep where his voice morphes into synth

  • hey.. where the replay button?.. where...

  • this is not only one of floyds best albums, its one of the best albums ever.growing up in northern ireland though the troubles it really hits home

  • And no dislikes? I always knew, that even trolls can't push a dislike button on Pink Floyd video.

  • If I show you my dark side........

    Will you still hold me....tonight?

And if I open my heart to you, show you my weak side....what would you do?

Would you sell my story to Rolling Stone????????????????????????????

  • brilliant

  • @Dannystevo100 as always

  • HORS CONCOURS Les Dieux l'ont bercés

  • everytime u say mistress i will say teacher or cat or friend buT... HA HA

  • I do not understand because in the 04:00 minute, a man with a garment that says chief argie and steals a ball ... treat us thieves?. we claim what is in our territory

  • Roger waters is the best ty Roger for this great music

  • love it, feeling

  • The feeling of this album reminds me somewhat of the movie 'Catch 22"

  • 04:06 is tha best part :)

  • This is amongst Pink Floyds best albums both musically and lyrically. It exemplifies everything great that is Pink Floyd...with moments of the most sensitive tenderness coupled with excellent musicianship that is not flashy or pretentious. I love this album with all my heart and consider it "The Final Cut" that Pink Floyd would ever make. Since Water's departure, Floyd was still a great band and did many great things, but they were never the same Floyd...and this was their "Final Cut".

  • @xraycat30 : bang on. Great album, soaring ballads with amazing lyrics.

  • This song reminds about the Terror bomb and the massacre in my country Norway :(((

  • Let's hope we never go there again

  • @Chivlingtonbicuspid1 we're still there.

  • @xSobhan I lost many good people here

  • more details on wikipedia - search for :Hyde Park and Regent's Park bombings

  • The explosions killed eleven military personnel: four soldiers of the Blues & Royals and seven military bandsmen of the Royal Green Jackets . Seven of the regiment's horses also died in the attack

  • The Hyde Park and Regent's Park bombings occurred on 20 July 1982 in London, England. Members of the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) detonated two bombs during British military ceremonies in Hyde Park and Regent's Park

  • Just an amazing song and album. Maybe my favorite lyrics ever.

  • This album still breaks my heart all these years later...I HATE WAR !!

  • Perfect

  • Sometimes i fell happy for videos like that have only 30,000 views. We're on the right way felows!

  • the best songs from the album

  • ..And if I show you my dark side......

  • this song gives me chills every time i hear it...

wouldnt expect any less from Pink Floyd

  • such an amazing album !!!!

  • 1. The Wall

    2. Final Cut

    3. Dark Side

    4. Wish you were here

    5. Animals

  • THERE IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE ONLY ONE PINK FLOYD,,

THE BEST SAX IVE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE.

THIS ALBUM RINGS SO TRUE TO LIFE ITS DAMN SCARY

  • Just now the phone rang. I never had the nerve to make the final cut...

  • Im 22 and nothing ha hit me more then PF

  • The best solution to The Wall. I have to say, personally, this is my favorite album. I love all Floyd, but this speaks clearly. It just meets me where it's supposed to.

  • a place to stay enough to eat somewhere old heroes shuffle safely down the street, where you can speak out loud about your doubts and fears,,, and whats more no-one ever disappears you never hear their standard issue kicking in your door! and everyone has recourse to the law, and no-one kills the children anymore. DAMN IT WORLD CANT WE ALL JUST THINK LIKE THIS WOULD IT BE SO HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @fimatmax My favourite lyrics ever. And I so agree, :-)

  • There is a reason why there are 0 dislikes.

Roger waters the guy who's always a step ahead from Jesus.

  • The Final Cut, one of my fav Pink Floyd albums. Can never decide which I like best though, cause I love SOOOO many of their songs in SOOOO many different albums.

  • My uncle has just passed away, his memory will live on. A true man in every possible sense of the word

  • The best shit ever.

  • I got it! This is not the England I remember after the 80's. As if it got all screwed up and Churchill's post war dream was screwed up. And Thatcher looked looney to everyone in the UK. The only thing that made everyone happy was the was in the Falklands.

  • @odingreen Call it the failed socialist experiment of the 1950s. That is what ruined Churchills post war dream.

  • As I get older its become one of my favored albums

  • As i hear this song, i can only imagine how complex modern society has become.

  • waters had a lot of friction with the other guys, but damn, he's a genius. oh, who is max?

  • @secutorclaudius His dog, most likely.

  • @TheElusiveBirdMan I always thought it was his dog too.

  • @secutorclaudius That would be Mags. Reference to Margaret Thatcher.

  • @secutorclaudius I thought it was like, a dog's name. Like his family pet. "Goodbye Max, Goodbye ma"

  • @KyleSurette13 oh, yeah. for a while i thought it was maybe a brother or something. so what's up with bandsmen getting blown up?

  • @secutorclaudius bandsmen getting blown up - I believe it was reference to IRA attack on UK forces band in London, very early 80's I think, 82 at most??

  • Fucking sax solo <3

  • das beste was es gibt

  • Gutwrenchingly fantastic ...

  • One of my favorite albums. just brilliant. Watched Roger perform The Wall in Manchester two weeks ago and words can't describe it. Imagine if he toured 'The Final Cut'. I can dream.

    Thanks for posting

  • i agree awesome album powerful words i love the way his voice blends into the sax

  • @KaosWithCandy My apologies, i misheard it :P

  • Justin Bieber, P Diddy and all other faggots they called musicans nowadays, need to sit down and listen to this masterpiece!!!

  • @ernestorafaelguevara You made a good point. You totally negated the point by using offensive terms.

  • Beautiful! Felt for this tune tonight. Thanks for posting. Memories.

  • "Everyone has recourse to the Lord. And no-one kills the children anymore." One of my favourite albums of all time, if not my favourite. I love this song so, so much.

  • @squishy3000 They don't kill them right away , they entice the child to poison himself.

  • AMAZING album. is that the teacher from the wall movie?

  • I don't know what my life would have been if I had not have stumbled across this cassette at a K-Mart when i was 13. I wore through five cassettes and 3 albums

  • ...great album...

  • my favourite........ roger waters wow

  • my favourite........

  • my favorite Floyd album [Waters album i suppose] : D

  • Roger waters is my hero

  • my favorite Floyd album...(or waters album i suppose)....Thanks for uploading!!

  • listened to this album 1000 times and never gets old...great memories....great channel here ...thanks

  • I remeber 1983 when I listened this one for the first time, I said - "what a DOWNER!". After I listened to it 3 or 4 times I said - "what a sweet, amazing DOWNER! Waters is a mad man".

  • Paul Ralston 'Life' in words. Page on facebook for all to read..

  • Why don't we hear this on the radio instead of Kesha...

btw the sax is killing me@

  • cant believe this has only 9000 hits , Brill song , great sax .

  • A REQUIEM FOR THE POST WAR DREAM. WOW

  • @dnd00719953 i couldn't agree with ya more. so nice to have a person in my yahoo list as a true floyd fan

  • What are these videos from? Was The FInal Cut made into a DVD/Video movie?

  • Amazing.

  • You tell 'em, Rog.

  • 6:26 you can see rogers face

  • @zippydude12345 and he saids "the wall" in that part

  • Superb. In many ways The Final Cut is my favourite Pink Floyd album - possibly album full stop. Having grown up under Thatcher's war-mongering this was a breath of fresh air.

  • @Chivlingtonbicuspid1 Closes out The Wall beautifully. I'm old enough to know the Maggie pain, too. You have great taste and insight.

  • @Chivlingtonbicuspid @camaross1576

The best Pink Floyd album ever, the last of the Roger Waters influence.

  • Superb. In many ways The Final Cut is my favourite Pink Floyd album - possibly album full stop. Having grown up under Thatcher's war-mongering this was a breath of fresh air. I'll always remember the faces at the disco at the CASA Club in Dagenham when my dad (who was DJing) put Not Now John on the decks. First time I've seen the video though. Thanks!!

  • its so perfectly made, the album alone without the music is a truly masterpiece but combined with the video EP is so harmonic. And so honest.... and (sadly) so true.

    *tear*

  • Despite being panned by many critics and fans, I find The Final Cut to be a haunting and beautiful work from beginning to end...

  • @camaross1576 > ditto brother

  • @camaross1576 You and I both.

  • I love that they use that rat-bastard teacher from the wall and place him in a roll that demands understanding where he came from. It takes The Wall to another level. This, my friends, is the genius of Roger Waters.

  • @camaross1576 thats really true despite of all the big albums this is beside of whish you where here my favorite one. but you need to hear it several times. PEACE

  • @camaross1576 same here i love this album
