That movie was a sham. they purportedly tried to make her seem confused. The introduction of the sword in the film was a bold lie to make her seem self deceived. In fact she told the soldiers to dig under an ancient altar where she had never been and that is how the sword was revealed. Read Mark Twains version if you wish to get it right.

The basic problem with all shows of this kind is that the host wants to be the star often at the expense of the guest. And Milla is a charming person, there is another interview with her on Joan of Arc. Waaay better, because in that interview the host was "transparent" and there was no audience. And this audience simply didn't understand Milla's answer.
