CBS originally cancelled "Jericho," Shortly after, when CBS started receiving all those boxes of nuts, they took a 180 and decided to add another short season of 9 episodes as a mid-season replacement (to see if viewer interest could actually keep the show going).

Kid Nation is a show where they put some kids from age 8 through 15 I think, and they have to live alone and make their own laws, food, work... things like that. But I heard that one kid was drinking bleach because there was a bottle and he thought it was water. Then a girl got burn when she was trying to cook. Things like that...
