Saw him in Louisville...no words can describe what seeing him and his infamous instruments did to one's soul. He rocked it and mesmerized the 2500 fans there.
I saw him in SC and this was his best concert ever! Neil is still YOUNG! You did a great job on the video. I am now reliving the concert thanks to you!
@jayaaron2 It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35. I actually just bought it a little while before the concert and I've been very impressed with it. It's still no SLR but it's the best high zoom point-and-shoot camera I could find. Thanks for the feedback.
I didn't know Ben had passed. I saw Ben play pedel steel with Neil 4 times in 2006 (with David, Steve, and Graham). I cherish those memories even more, now. My personal memory of Ben will always be the recorded conversation he had (recorded in a limo in 2005) about walking into the recording session of Harvest, in Nashville, 40 years ago, plugging in, playing on three songs, and introducing himself to Neil for the first time, after the recording was done. Watch it on the 'Prairie Wind' DVD.
saw the monday show blew my mind drove 8 hours from thunder bay to see Mr Young rock the house and My Trip was well worth it This song when he played it blew my mind its my fav neil young song ever.. and im a die hard ny fan.... epic trip memories to last me a long long time!!!
Ya, I think the passing of his long time friend Ben Keith had a big influence on the show. Almost no chit chat between songs and a pretty somber feeling throughout. He even changed the encore song to Old Man which he specifically dedicated to Ben. All together it was an amazing heart felt show.
How does he get that huge tone from those small amps?

There is a reason that there are no dislikes on this video! Neil is a musical god that pours pure emotion into every song.
