love how kids are playing the hard man saying that they would not cry like that. yet i bet none of them have probably been in a bad bike crash or felt real pain. because trust me if you have your ribs caved in and a snaped leg or some shit you would be crying in pain. and it takes a real man to admit that.
@BleedingSunday not really, its just an illadvised thinkign of how to warn the public of the dangers out there. how ever ive only ever come across 1 video that does the job and that was 3 years ago.
@2wheelsteve thats exactly what i was thinking, plus i was expecting a much more releastic accident than what seemed like a "placed" action scene , bits not on the floor, his gear hasnt a single scratch or tear....so not exactly believable. which these types of things need to scare the shit out of the viewer.
You don't have to ride reckless to get hurt on the road. Someone who does not look at a stop, does not look when overtaking, etc... or gaz on the road. The point is that when you ride reckless you don't have the margin of safety and you can surprise other users.
But right, it is way more secure to right fast on a desert motorway than overtaking in a square or filtering the traffic when it's dark and rainy.
I think there's definitely a line between being reckless, stupid, and having proper fun. For example, every time I see a Ferrari or a Lambo on the street, they're not flooring it every time and speeding, etc. etc. There are times to do that and you have to be smart about when you do. Safest thing to do is go to a track, but just remember what I said, there's always a difference between being stupid and having proper fun. If you're going to have fun just make sure you're safe in the process.
in my place, what worst is even unlicensed minor participating street racing, show off their skill, doing dangerous stun, rev their machine over the red line. these teenager like this are on the suicidal path in favour for their fun as well as endangering other motorist. I'm used to treat my bike gently unlike these street racer. my true riding nature is eco safe riding
Yeah he stubbed his pinky toe. Poor bloke, may he RIP.
On a serious note I lost my best friend when he was killed on his bike, an ambulance decided to pull out on him and he was unable to avoid it. Sh*t happens no matter how safe or reckless you choose to ride/drive.
I understand that its message is widespread to all that use the road, I'm just pointing out that no matter how safe or well you drive you are taking a risk the moment you set off.
@ClawHammer5000 Thing is at least they're trying to make a difference rather than just 'letting it slide' and cornwall is the biggest places which involve motorbikes. And it's for the emergency services to spread the message across as you've read it was made by students not actual proffessionals.
I don't understand why you're bitching about it, there are always going to be road awareness stuff, fair enough you have an opinion but you're being bitter.
I think you're reading into my messages all wrong, Im not in the least bit bitter and I have nothing against people putting out messages like these seeing as my friend was killed on a bike. If it helps then good, im just commenting on the fact that no matter how safe anyone thinks they are, it could all end ever so quickly withour warning or reason. That is all.

@2wheelsteve Sorry, I didn't know that you were an expert on crying when hurt this bad...
Have you been involved in an accident like this? From this video we can see that the Ambulance staff are probably trying to take off his helmet?
This video is for educational purposes like the TV advert by Think! EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES... Fool

@Kensa95 Cornwall is one of the worst places in the UK with motorbike accidents, this is a campaign to make people more aware of motorbikers.
