  • Im gonna buy my newborn an AK47 and a grenade rattle ,hey its ok under the second amendment lol

  • SICK BASTARDS

  • @LadyboyAgogo Considering that came from someone obsessed with "chicks with dicks" lady boys, I'm going to take that as a compliment.

  • fantastic video, thanks for posting

  • I am happy to say I am a proud gun owner myself, this point of view needs to be talked more :)

  • Very interesting, thank you.

  • I meditate, practice peace and love for all and I support responsible people who carry concealed weapons. Having a gun is not opposite of Spirit. We are spiritual beings regardless of our behavior or actions.

In fact I would like to own and carry a weapon in the near future.

I think the difference between us CCWs and the government; we wouldn't use a gun preemptively.

  • GREAT VIDIO !

    Harry-nevada

  • Excellent video. Since the beginning of time people have always owned weapons to defend themselves with. The gun is the weapon of choice for our time. It is ultimately your responsibility to protect yourself your family and your property.

  • This is really a great project. As alot of people have already said, this is a way of showing the larger population that gun owners are normal people with families, homes, regular jobs, etc. These are tools and more importantly tools that carry power... power that wise people take note of. Consider Admiral Yamamoto's urging the Japanese Government during World War II that the mainland invasion of the U.S. would be completely futile.

  • I am a gun owner and after I purchased my first firearm and took friends that were not gun owners to the range with me they had a blast and most of them soon purchased their own

And I for one feel much safer when I am awaken by that 3:00am bump in the night and search the house investigating the source of that bump the whole while hoping it ends up being nothing, But at the same time being ready to eliminate any threat from a home

  • I am a 42 year old female. I am also a forensic psych. I work with criminals every day. I know what these guys are capable of. I run into them on occasion outside of the jail or prison system. Most are cool and say "hey it's the psych lady" but a few are not so cool. A very small % may want to do me harm. I love my profession and know there are risks. I also need a mobility scooter. A gun is my only reasonable means of self defence. Don't take my career and ability to defend myself away. Cont

  • Without a gun, I would have to quit my career and move to another state. I can not fight off anyone, I can't run. I am very independant and owning a gun allows me to live like I want to without fear. Stripping me of that is something I can't believe ANYONE could support. An armed victim is not a suitable victim. Criminals know this. Many Studys show this. High gun ownership, carry laws do reduce violent crime. Why do so many people reject this well understood concept for their emotional reaction?

  • Very cool idea for a video. I love my guns and believe that firearms are essential to freedom.

  • To arms American and fuck all the anti gun fanatics that never even fired a BB gun.

  • I enjoyed these comments. Thanks. IR

  • I hear all the same reasons why people have firearms, hunting, target shooting, home protection, but not one mention of the most important reason for the second amendment and the RIGHT to keep and bear arms. The entire Bill of Rights was to preserve the Liberty of the Individual. Thomas Jefferson had much to say about this."The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -Thomas Jefferson

  • zoetic12, I don't think people should own a gun becasue they have the right to. It's a choice.

  • The girl in the brown shirt at 4:55 isn't one of us. Where's the gun?

  • i love this portrait, no bias, no politics, no fear, just people and their guns, i think it would open alot of eyes to the human face of responsible gun ownership

  • My family is a gun family. We have quite the collection. I'm proud to be a gun owner. And I'm proud that my family and I took part in this book!

  • i own 3 guns and i own them because i love them. and i plan on getting a whole lot more. im in NJ and they are very strict and i hate that this is not a free country they deprive me from my right to carry and feel safe FRE AMERICA i dont think so whats the point of me owning my gun but im limited to have them only at home ??? this country looks like cuba NO RIGHTS

  • thats what happens when you live in foreign countries like new jersey (or california)

  • Why own a gun? Rather Why Own A Fire Extinguisher? Why own a 1st aid kit?

  • Those with a potty mouth will be blocked and their comments removed. Grow up.

  • Nice vid thanks :)

  • McCain-Palin 08

Nowhere in the Second Amendment does it say anything about hunting. The 2nd Amendment is for the purpose of protecting against enemies including a tyrannical government. I would love to, but have never even been hunting. I love our country and just because not all of us choose to exercise our right does not diminish its importance.

  • The second amendment was ment to allow the people to protect themselves from foriegn threats (invading nations or terrorists) and domestic threats (crimminals and oppresive government). The main reason why I own guns is due to both parts of the domestic threats. Having said that, I hope that I never have to use them for those reasons.

  • Live in Florida? Texas?

Feel strongly about your right to Open Carry?

There are 44 states that recognize the right to Open Carry, Florida and Texas are two of only six states that do not.

Please sign the Florida Petition to Open Carry, go to flopencarry . com and join us at opencarry . org

You can also sign the Texas Petition to Open Carry at petitiononline . com / texasoc / petition . html

  • as a connecticut pistol permit holder i can say there is no law that prohibits open carry but if you alarm anyone you could be charged with breach of peace

  • Hell, I alarm people just walkin down the street.

  • Yeah, I was always confused about open carry. Would the law rather you go to McDonalds with your .45 out in the open on your belt making everyone nervous, or tucked away in your jacket, I would love to have someone explain the logic to me.

  • For quick access. I don't think it's necessary most of the time for the average citizen. Or perhaps they have a big belly that makes it very uncomfortable for them to conceal effectively.

  • the black guy only taked for 10 sec

  • awesome video

  • This has to be in my top 10 fav videos, it's truely a work of art. Everyone has a need when owning a gun/weapon, and their not always the same. Thanks you for the clip. no pun intended.

  • Lol @ 3:29. Speaking of wich, I know a bisexual kid that loves guns.

  • I like this. Finally someone portraying gun owners as something other than either rednecks or paranoid extremeists! Second Amendment for the win!

  • @RevolverPhantom you mean paranoid realists?

  • @PorscheORviper Dunno, I posted that comment two years ago.

  • this really shows how guns arn't always weapons but used as tools

  • I like 3:17

(Liberal) Democrat gun owner, there are more of us out there then you think!

  • The guys you tend to vote for want to disarm you.

  • maybe, but most people aren't single issue voters and its more of a geographical issue, as most Southern democrats are pro-gun and many northern republicans are anti-gun.

  • I don't quite think that's true.

  • Hardly. Im from the north and, especially in the Midwest, most conservatives and liberals are pro gun due to our long and rich hunting traditions up here. My uncle a conservitive from New York and former NYC cop owns several firearms as well. I have yet to personally meet a northern republican that was anti gun, and Ive met plenty of them.

  • You must have never met Rudy Guiliani

  • Think about it, gun rights and the environment souldn't be partisan issues. By breaking up along party lines we are screwing over our rights, and our environment.

  • Amazing photo book. I was surprised at how eye opening this book is.

  • im not a hunter! but i am a law biding citezen. and carry a concealed permit legally! AND IM NOT A REDNECK! HAAA

  • I heard the author on the Gun Rights Advocate podcast (mp3 radio show). I want to buy this book.

  • very intresting i really liked this vidieo definitly shows people how gun owners are normal people

  • I love this book....it has spent plenty of time on my coffee table!

  • Thumbs up for this video from UK. Descent, free, people should have access to rifles and guns.

  • This video will not be a soap box for the mouth breathing anti-gun crowd on youtube.

If you'd like to debate this topic, please come up with something other than the typical anti-gun talking points right off the brady bunch website.

  • Guns save lives. Watch my video on pizza delivery driver that shoots an armed robber.

  • me being a hunter i have many firearms and i think everyfamily should own a gun for safety reasons

  • funny all this talk about guns I have many gus never been asked why. but you know its none of your business.I belive the stats will show that cars kill more people than guns in the US. why do you have a car? people kill not guns Or cars

  • Those people and criminals will get guns whether you and your ilk try to take everyone else's guns. The 2nd amendment guarantees the right of the citizen to possess and carry a firearm for all lawful purposes, not just for militia. The right was primarily given us by our founders to protect us from the type of tyrannical government run amok that someone like you would most likely force on the rest of us.

  • ZP, what about those crazy people with cars? drink and drive, hit and run. people committed a crime with guns we should ban guns? people committed a crime with cars we should ban cars? maybe we should ban body builders too and chinese martial artists, they are "criminally" too strong, one could kill you with a touch of death.

  • Oh, and the statement at 4:45 says it all!

  • I love this video, and I REALLY need to get the book!

  • 10ring.....thats so funny and original too. Not really though. Like I said in my previous comment; it's all about being prepared. Some people are lazy and neglagent, and rely on others to bail them out. Thats just not me.

  • I think what you misunderstood was that I was cracking a joke that agreed with your statement of preparedness and self reliance.

"Why do you carry a gun?...Because a cop is too heavy" = 'Why do you carry a gun?...Because I know I have to rely on myself, and not the police, if something happens to me'.

    Make more sense now?

  • Sorry to jump on the defensive so quic; I misunderstood. That makes a lot more sense now. Thank you for clearing that up. I'm just not use to anyone agreeing with me.

  • I carrey a gun all day every day. It doesn't make me feel safe; it makes me feel prepared. It's not up to the police, the government, or the military to keep you safe from harm or to rescue you. It's up to each individual to have their own plan and their own protection. Their are a lot of people who need to loose their entitlement mentality. Stop pointing fingers. It's time to wipe your own ass people. Thats just my opinion.

  • "Why do you carry a gun?"

"Because a cop is too heavy!"

  • "Today we need a nation of minute men; citizens who are not only prepared to take up arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as a basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom. The cause of liberty, the cause of American, cannot succeed with any lesser effort."

    -- President John F. Kennedy, January 29, 1961

  • I think guns are fine for fun and recreation... some people want the wild versions Aks or UZI's -- some want Shotguns or sniper rifles...I don't want any I hate to clean them...I love Rockets more fun and less cleaning!

  • If you know a person who is against gun ownership ask them to post and leave a large banner on the front of their house that says "WE DO NO HAVE ANY GUNS IN THIS HOUSE". When they refuse tell them that is what they are doing if you ban guns. It says to criminals come and rob us we have no protection.

  • i really like your comment alot...im a republican and friend is a hard headed democrat. it comes to the point that we arnt good friends anymore is because i own guns and he doesnt know i did...so he got paranoid, and doesnt talk to me much at all. but then i had my bestfriend who supported me, we lived together, we have responsibilities, we are gun enthusiast, and he is my twin brother lol

  • this is awesome...i need that book

  • The antis would have us run, but #7 is the perfect example of why that doesn't work. Its very easy to be anti freedom until you are the victim of a violent crime. I just bought the book and its really good.

  • I was at Barnes and Noble last Thursday to drink some Venti Cappucino when I came across Kyle's book by accident. Thanks for putting the image of law-abiding gun citizens in a positive manner. If I may, I'd like to leave a message to anti-guns: The 2nd Amendment is part of the Bill of Rights! The Constitution is NOT a living, breathing document.

  • good vid, no person mentioned the real reason for gun ownership, is the Peoples' defense against tyranny from their government and to remain free. Its just a matter of time before the people use their 2nd amend to restore the republic, which has been hijacked by the international bankers.

  • You people that HATE guns more power to you, I'm not mad at ya. I'm pro gun with respects to lawful citizens. There are many reasons to be against them but when that one reason in a million arises my family will have a chance.

  • whatever

  • Why 'whatever'?

  • We don't need to convince the world that we have the right to own guns. It's in the constitution!!

  • Well, we know that, but the problem is, no one else does, because they think we're all rednecks, ghetto thugs, or in the KKK.

Gun owners have an image problem in this country. Not because of what we are, but mostly because of ignorance in the media, and the media only portraying negative or illegal gun uses.

Its time the American people saw who we really are, not what they've been fed on the evening news.

  • We'll that's good that you want to educate people about responsible American gun owners.

  • That is an interesting project. I like it.

  • Awesome

  • Great Job Ten Ring!
