I would love to, but have never even been hunting. I love our country and just because not all of us choose to exercise our right does not diminish its importance.
The second amendment was ment to allow the people to protect themselves from foriegn threats (invading nations or terrorists) and domestic threats (crimminals and oppresive government). The main reason why I own guns is due to both parts of the domestic threats. Having said that, I hope that I never have to use them for those reasons.

Hardly. Im from the north and, especially in the Midwest, most conservatives and liberals are pro gun due to our long and rich hunting traditions up here. My uncle a conservitive from New York and former NYC cop owns several firearms as well. I have yet to personally meet a northern republican that was anti gun, and Ive met plenty of them.
Think about it, gun rights and the environment souldn't be partisan issues. By breaking up along party lines we are screwing over our rights, and our environment.
