  • You can hear the influence AMM had on later experimental musicians on tracks like these.

  • @Bizarronumber4 electronic music for example

  • @Bizarronumber4 Indeed. Especially had a major influence on Syd Barrett.

  • industrial

  • Members of the Beatles used to occasionally listen to AMM live. You think "Revolution 9" came out of music like this?

  • @isackiuk I think so. I loaded other songs so you can listen the rest of this album

  • @isackiuk I just don't understand how someone who heard AMM could turn around and write "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da." And I know McCartney was one of the ones who heard AMM.

  • @grahamlaur I do. Paul was a family man too and like the other Beatles occasioanlly wrote family oriented fare (Octopus's Garden, Yellow Submarine) Ob-la-di Ob-la-da never gets its credit as an early reggae-esque track that's why the White Album worked as its more-genres-on-any-album then any other. If the Beatles had done ONLY stuff like this people wouldn't have liked them. Instead you get one song Revolution#9 doing weird sound collages vs a whole album and it stands out.

  • Ahhhh man, thanks for uploading this! Been looking to hear some AMM for ages :D
