I dunno, I liked the way 9th chopped it. It makes you think. You can hear Willie say "Life is..." then a painful "whoa" then it says "turn your back on me/used to be" Kind of makes you interpret it a little bit. The way I interpret it is that life is so painful sometimes because people will turn your back on you but as a young kid it used to be different. It just sounds so tormented. And I know Murs is smart enough to interpret it in a way that suggests chasing dreams that are just out of reach.
