Ya I had to turn the sound way down, and its distorting too. People don’t know that you should turn a microphone listening down when taping this kind of stuff. You can then balance the levels during editing.
But once you have the feed distorted from the camera mic. Its too late to balance it realisticly.
@mito92 it's just programmed into the ecu as a setting to cut fuel at a certain rpm the same as a rev limiter does. you just have to have whoever chips your ecu write it into the program
just in case you wanted to be educated the concept of a 2 step is the SAME THING ras a rev limiter! it doesn't restrict your rev based on destrucion but it restricts your rev based on a point in the fuel map that you would like your car to take off of the line without breaking loose so that you get the best launch you can at full throttle. both rev limiter and 2 step are fuel cuts so they sound the same with the acception of the rev they cut at..... continued on the next page lol dumbass

did u hear the engine rev up to 8500 rpm? no? its two step. u get your ECU programed to do that. had it on my 94 teg with a gsr swap. you learn something new every day. knowing is half the battle. the more you know.....

i'd recommend getting it tuned into your ecu and have whoever does it (if you want a toggle switch) install it so that it disengages your chip whenever you switch it. or you could have 2 chips installed and have the switch just jump you back and forth between chips
well my buddy and i tune it myself i have an ostrich 2.0 from xenocron so its just a firewire USB cable into my laptop so tuning isnt the problem its that toggle switch. that 2-chip integration to the toggle switch is deff a possibility i'm just concerned when i AM tuning i have to keep switching back and forth to change the REST of the settings on the chips to match each other..
of course i'm installing a turbo XS manual boost controller that has a toggle switch for low/high boost settings [want to be able to drive my teg on the street more w/o overdoing the horsepower since my 2nd motor isnt built yet haha] so you think i could just wire up the dual chip to the same toggle switch? let me know what you think and thanks in advance for the help man
somehow i spaced on the fact that if you have an msd ignition you can set it to cut your spark instead of fuel at any point you want and wire in a toggle switch through your msd system
