  • Love the song. Scenes fit well, too. I just hope Jeffrey was wearing a cup when he jumped down onto that horse!

  • @BKL8008 Thanks! You can see this is one of my very early attempts. Actually my first 'live action' video. LOL-Him or the stuntman! I'm pretty sure after leaving Lincoln he cried over that one!

  • I like the song; yet, I do not remember the series.

  • @whatalooker01 Voyagers! only ran for one season-20 eps. between 1982-1993, in the nineties it was shown in repeats on the sci-fi channel. This song is actually the opening credits theme to 1984's Cover Up, which featured Jon-Erik Hexum as the lead role before his death after about seven episodes.

  • My favorite show of all times

  • This is just great. It even made me cry a little. Jon Erik Hexum was so gorgeous and we shared the same birthday, November 5. It was such a tragedy when he died in that gun accident. R.I.P Jon Erik. You'll always be my "Hero"

  • Perfect

  • The concept behind the show was solid. I loved the way it ended every week with Meeno Peluce saying "Take a voyage down to your public library, it's all in books!"

However the concept would have worked better for a series of tv movies aired say 3 or 4 times a year. Then it could have gone on for 4 or 5 years instead of dying after only a single season.

Of course we all missed out on what Jon Erik Hexum might have accomplished. Such a waste of an attractive young actor.

  • @Liam021471 Hi thanks for your comment. I like that idea, a series of tv movies that would have eventually branched into a full tv series. They did that with shows like Hercules and Xena and they went on for 5-7 years.. And yeah, there's so many thoughts about what Jon could have done through the years. He may have wound up becoming a great producer and director. He was saving to buy a production company. He liked solid drama films.

  • wasn;t this the music in yet another series he was in????

  • @pwnage0013 Hi, yes it was, his 1984 series Cover Up. Jon was in six episodes and the Pilot before he died. This song is just made for him. :D

  • This was back when people knew how to educate and entertain at the same time. Now kids are stuck with sponge bob bullshit.. The 80's ruled! "V" for life!

  • Okay, although I have to admit I love Spongebob and find it hilarious, I know that's definitely not educational, but you are totally right, TV should do both. Lately everything is just senseless filler. This show was so cool in that respect. Basic history (if somewhat filtered for censors and children) action, adventure, and even heartwarming moments. Thanks for the comment and sub. :)

  • *lol I admit sponge bob has its moments of cuteness (thanks to Mr.krab and Plankton ) but that's the thing .. in the 80's TV would motivate you to better yourself..you wanted to be a hero it was the decade of inspiration.. it was magic.. now TV just inspires people to be dopey. Anyhow thanks for the walk down memory lane. Cheers my friend.

  • BTW I just saw your website and I love it! Great Job! Thanks!

  • One more thing then .. I''ll stop spamming your page *lol there was an episode (I think it was a small mini series in itself ) where the two where brought forth before the voyager supreme court and the amne (not sure how its spelled but the time travel machine) testified against them.. have you seen it or been able to find it on line? I would really like to re-watch that!

  • LOL..That's okay. That was 'The Trial of Phineas Bogg' and it was only one episode. Phineas was being tried by his enemy, Voyager Drake, before the Voyager Tribunal. That was supposed to be the last episode of the series, but the Fanclubs got the Networks to continue the series a little longer. There is someone who posted all the episodes online, I'll send you a PM with the link. Thanks for looking at and liking the website! It's my little pride and joy, lol.

  • It was only one episode? .. Ah the tricks the mind plays.. I could have sworn it went on for weeks!*lol Also the links on your sites are great as well! I just read a fine article on the possibility of real life time travel. I enjoyed the article although I disagreed with some of their objections when it comes to paradoxes. Thank you for the link. I am really happy to have meet you. If your ever in Portland lunch for you and your family is on me!

  • That's a kind offer. Thank you, though I'm not much of a traveler..or 'Voyager', really only in my mind! lol. I haven't read alot of those time travel links in a while, I'm just content with it in fiction. :P It's way mind boggling if you think to much about it...they say you could find errors in every time travel movie and stuff if you really think too much, but the basic science of it is just fascinating.

  • Jon Eric Hexum's career was just taking off. Sadly Voyagers was a casualty of his death ... he was filming a movie

He was penciled in for planned future movie projects in 1980s. It is VERY POSSIBLE that he would have been considered and received 1980s action adventure roles that were eventually filled by: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, etc.

  • I forgot how handsome he was..I didn't know he died..Now, that's a shame. :(

  • Even today it is hard to find a man who is more handsome than Jon Eric Hexum was. His eyes alone were fabulous.

  • I hate he shot himself and i think it was here In San Francisco Ca. i wish they bring back his show

  • I can't get over how beautiful he was He was just so handsome; my fave is around 3:00

  • He surely was. Yes, the way the camera panned to him in that scene was real nice. I would love to remake this old video with better editing. This was the first one I made. :P

  • that's awesome considering it was the first try !! :-))

  • i remeber watching this when did this show run ?

  • This show ran from 1982-1983 on NBC originally. In the early to mid nineties Sci-Fi channel had the rights and aired it for a while. That's how I got to see it.

  • one question this serie finish some day and the kid go back to his time ..

  • No, Mr. Hexum mistaknely killed himself before the series ended.

  • YES THEY DID! It's part of the universal sets. You should go to my website and look at the page for pictures of the sets they used. I think you'd like it. Voyagers used a lot of the same sets over and over.

  • two wonderful series, I am never lost, with voyagers learned history ... Jon was very talented and easy ... Jesus is in his glory !!!!!!

  • RIP Jon-Erik :(

This is another of my favorite songs =D Couldn't be more fitting.

  • I know, it's cool that this was also the theme song to Jon's show Cover Up. You hear it in so many ways throughout the episodes, instrumental versions, it's cool. It's totally his song, I always think of him when I hear this song now. I would like to remake this video, or make another Voyagers video with this song. :)

  • jon forever!

  • Punky Brewster's half sibling!

  • This was such a cool show. i tried so hard to remember it.. someone on craiglist remembered! awesome to dig out old memories..

  • i need help, haw was the name of that series when a guy create something to travel trough diferent dimentions, please i'm looking for that!

  • Sliders?

  • yes that' it,i found it now,thaks anyway,realy,thanks!

  • I wonder if Sliders was inspired in part by Voyagers.

  • sliders

  • I used to watch this show when i was a kid. I loved it. Am I mistaken or was Jon-Erik Hexum the guy who accidentally killed himself by shooting himself in the head with a blank pistol???

  • Hi, yes, it was in 1984 on the set of another series, Cover Up.

  • I loved this show when I was a child! They should have continued it. If they had, perhaps Jon-Erik would still be with us...

  • i recently bought the box set of it on ebay. the only thing is that it is region 1, lucky enough i have a multi region player

  • I love that song. Thank you for bringing back the voyagers in this way. You did a great job. They should have continued the series. :)

  • Yes, an awesome song! Thank you very much.

  • i can remember watching this back in the early 80s. they cut it after one series. they should of made more.

  • They definitely should have, it was a very interesting show and It could have gotten even better given the chance.:) Thanks.

  • SUPER!!!!! LOVE the music too!!!!

  • :D I see you're catching up to all the vids! Enjoy! I adore making them, and as someone wrote me, it's time to make more!

  • Thank you very much!!! Great vid!! I discovered this serie when I was 7. I inmediatly loved it. Many years later I became a History teacher. Coincidence? I don't think so... Thanks again from Argentina

  • I've been waiting to get this seris for my DVD collection. Thanks for the reminding me why I want it. Hexum was like the big brother I always wanted.

  • I don't know how you did what you did,

but I like the special effects you added on. They're cool.Good tune & it fits so well with these great clips you picked.I watched the whole thing & it's very well done.Nice Tribute to Jon Erik Hexum.I'm curious, can anybody tell me how long Jon had lived for?

I could never find out the answer to it. Plus, how did he die to begin with? He was taken from us way too soon. Good job.

  • He was 26 yrs. Found out he was suppose to be on a flight for Vegas on Oct 12 for Circus of the Stars. They promised they would release him early that day but broke the promise. He was mad at long delay in filming. He had to get going. They weren't suppose to be using live blanks that day. As to why he just didnt leave and get on plane. We will never know. He should have just left. Then no sad songs for us.

  • Interesting details, I've never read that before. Since TomRoykouff doesn't seem to know about Jon-Erik, I might just add that he died on Oct. 12 1984 during a gun accident on the set of the show "Cover Up". He was officially pronounced brain dead six days later, though.

  • Hum...I'm sorry I missed the boat on this comment, sometimes they fly over my head. Thank you very much for the compliments! This was my first video and i was playing around with a lot of the special effects;) I used IMovie for Macintosh to make it. I suggest going to fanclub website for complete information too, plus they have old pictures, letters, etc. It's been a month, so you probably done that already! Doh!

  • Whatever happened to him? I thuoght he was a cutie. You still see his sister but we never see Meeno.

  • Meeno is a family man now, and very into photography, check out meenophotodotcom he takes great pictures.

  • i cried when i saw this video. meeno peluce is my first crush..ever. i love voyagers!!!

  • Wow, Thanks! He is so cute. I hope you enjoy the others:-)

  • Bit of trivia...Meeno and Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster) are siblings.

  • Wow! Never knew that. I guess there is a resemblance.

  • I was so young when this aired. I wished I had remembered more episodes.

  • For your 1st attempt - this was awesome (but then again...all of you videos are GREAT :) I is so interesting to see how much your style changes with each one!

  • Thanks hon! I try to keep them eclectic and interesting! Hopefully getting better and better with each one. :)

  • And this is really cool! The perfect trailer! I just love this song!

  • Happy 50th birthday Jon!

U was and still are my biggest idol!!!

U will always be remeberd by your fans!

    (1957-11-05***1984-10-18)

    R.I.P

  • Great Ginger!! Its good your redoing your videos! More, more!!

  • Basically I'm just moving them over! lol. I plan to make another video for voyagers with this song I love it so much. In your opinion, Should I 'remake' this one? Or put something completely different together? That's my big decision here. Thanks:)

  • I think this is good. Mmm, add wish you were here at end as well. I like to see more from Cover Up, Bear movie, etc. Have you heard NBC is trying to revive the knight rider series?? Oh, how bout video when JEH is just shirtless in whatever it may be..LOL!!

  • I don't have the bear or male model, so shirtles is kinda out, lol...wait, In the Bear, you BARELY see him anyway. I thought I heard about Knight Rider...isn't that funny, cuz didn't they just revive the Bionic woman too? Voyagers is ripe for a revival, but then again, Quantum Leap was like a reworked version of it.

  • Q. Leap, well sucks. As i read somewhere, it was too heavy handed and two old guys who aren't sexy. Mmm, off to Norway to find another Nordic God..lol! On shirtless, get the stuff and whatever you can find in videos, pics..LOL!! :o
