i find if you let it harden on the ledge with no cap, bacteria and dust will fall on top, i assume it takes a while for it to harden... would it be a good idea to put the tap on and put it in the fridge?

I just tried this and my pencil started to melt! I luckilly got the product but it smelled terrible

@nagaem9 sorry to hear that... I didnt have any issues like that. but then again I end up checking on the pencil about every 10 to 15 seconds as the timer went. so that if it started to melt faster (cause some pencils did compared to others) I knew about it. Sorry that this didnt help you out

@nagaem9 it started to smell cause of the glue. She puts the end of the pencil which has glue into the product which you DO NOT WANT. The eye can only see so much. I never use this method of depoting. Although fast you risk glue getting into the product which you have to apply on the eyes. The only method I use for depotting jumbo pencils is a wrench and a hair dryer. You can focus on the middle of the pencil and not the end where the glue was.

Thank you!! When I first got these, I didn't know you could sharpen them. Then I realized you could, but I really didn't want to because that takes away some of the product. My only issue now is I have a tiny little tupperware type container for it, and I cannot travel with it now. I guess it's time to shop ebay when I get paid again, haha!

Ummm if y'all want to get it out SOOOO much quicker just take the bottom off of it off THEN take the back of a make up brush and push it thru the whole it comes out supped easy AND you don't have to mic it when you mic it it tends to funk with the pigments in the shadow stick's.

@ihateyotubenames you cant over cook it! i did accidently let the cup I was using get too hot and it melted the plastic container. make sure let the cup cool off a bit if you are going to be doing more than two

I don't have any jumbo eye pencil, but it think this is the best way i saw! ^^ it's clean, easy and that way it takes a lot less space...

I remember watching a gilr with a hairdryer, that was quite messy and boring to do, this way you can be doing other things while the microwave do all the work xD

great vid thanx for sharing its much easier and it doesn't waste product after sometimes it takes along time to get nyx. I have to go 1 hr away to get mine although I only have 2 nyx pencils and hope to get more 2 more cuze their 6.00 for 2 plus tx in NYC. I love those products so does alot of ppl here on youtube. I got blk bean and horseradish . lol depoting them make lots of sense thanx lo

@Beautyforhire you know I dont know if you are into ebay sellers at all but there is a seller in california that has an ebay store. and you can get really good deals on lots of NYX products. just to keep in mind, so that you dont feel like you are spending alot of money on the product and gas. :)
