That type of thinking seems to me the result of being ashamed of being compared to the illegal immigrants portrayed by the pop media. The typical beaner wit broken English. We remain being consistent as who we think of ourselves as, so we should shrug of the label off our shoulders like a leaf that falls upon on our shoulders. The wind blew the leaf on our shoulder, we didn't choose it to fall there.
