  • Same problem here but with nor samsung, had shorten wires but problem is still there. Any solution Vit77 or any1 would be appreciated.

  • @85tometran Hey, I haven't tried anything else, because I don't have much time these days. In the end of the month I'll try to resolder it.

    Have you tried eioman36 suggestion?

    Good luck!

  • try in other pc, i was has the same problem

and.. was has more problems too.. (program ~ driver compatibility)

and when goes to erase, gets "verification failed" and brick the motherboard :(

i need to try to flash the nor with the r8 open, r7 closed, wp to 3.3, etc..

i haven't time to try, and have too e3 flasher (its more easy to use)

    good luke :)

  • i have it to, the same problem and some times it 100% bu everything is FFFF or 00000, its really fucked up

  • Any other solution for this problem ? I have exactly the same problem and the fix that gabcauseican mentioned did not work .

  • @SirGhas Nothing... I've ressoldered it all, with more short connections, tried new version of winskeet, tried in linux with yaskeet. Soldered more 3GND points, nothing...

It's not the problem with progskeet, I can assure you. Because a friend of mine tied soldering this progskeet in PS3 Slim, and it worked fine.

SirGhas, do you have the same model of mine PS3? What schematic did you use?

  • i have this too (Progskeet blue v1.1) but i thought it was totally solderless?

  • @aa9596 Nope, there is also solderless kit for progskeet, but it's better you solder, because a friend of mine bought that kit, and went to talk through IRC to team behind progskeet, and they said that there are some faulty kits in the market, that have 3.3v shorted with GND. This means that when you use it on your PS3 board, it can permanently damage your console.. so better don't use solderless kits.

  • try this setup

desolder r8 (open) and put a switch on r7

start the ps3 with r7 off(open) count to 20 seconds the switch r7 swich to on(closed)

    than try to dump

  • @gabcauseican This implies that I must have 3.3V from ProgSkeet connected to 3.3V of PS3 board?

    Thanks

  • @vit77utube yes 3,3v should go to 3.3v on the ps3

  • @gabcauseican I've tried it also, it's the same..

This week, I'll try another install, I'll film essential parts of install and winskeet/yaskeet and post it here. Maybe we'll solve this problem all together :)

    Regards
