@ phillmeehspits At the 0:48 mark Dilla is holding the Listening album...I watched an interview with 9th Wonder where the interviewer asked if he'd ever met Dilla and he said no...he also said that the only connection was when he saw a photo (this photo) Ive been trying to find it...where does it come from?

@phillmeehspits depends how technical you tryna get with it. apparently "freestyles" where originally basically what they called free-writes. shit with no coherent topic. which is how everyone rhymes now they never have a real subject or storyline or like theme to their rhymes. but that's what freestyles usually was originally just random shit. but written.
