we shood be using higher voltadge electricity 240 -480 Volts insted of 120-240 and the 3 wires on the top of poles could have higher voltadges too, using HIGHER voltadge and same amperadge will allow us to put more power through pre existing wires ,

Ok, if we dump the GW scare, drill our own oil and get off this idea that a winding day and a sunny day is going to power the future we can be more realistic. I just recently got rid of the virus on my computor, can you image hackers and viruses in the national system as the power company and the customer try to 'interconnect'? I have no problems oil companies or nuclear power plants. Just get off this golly gee whiz the planet is dying crap.

Gas prices at levels "unseen" before in history? Well, let's get some facts & some perspective here.

In real money terms, gas prices today as compared to gas prices in 1980 should be around $9.00.gal. So I think$5.00/gal is bad, but it certainly isn't the worst.

But get ready for Obama's new federal gas tax, coming soon to a pump near you. What is it for? It doesn't go to any kind of research, it's only to get you to use less gas so we can all "fight" global warming. Hooray for higher prices!

Come check the prices in Europe. I love how you guys drive huge trucks without really needing it and just waste gas without really having to paying the same as we are for month, just driving 1.5 times more and wasting even more ....

PS: I don't mean you have to increase the gas price, but that seems to be efficient way to make people start using oil-efficiency cars.
