  • Do you remember what brand the second product you showed was, or where you got it?

    Thanks!!

  • This isn;t the same as the Starter SNS, which is designed for moms who only need a supplementer for a very short time. I have used that, the SNS and the Lact-Aid in nursing my adopted babies. There is very little debate among adoptive moms, many of whom have to supplement for many months. Virtually all moms who have experience with both the SNS and the Lact-Aid prefer the Lact-Aid. Good luck to all you moms who have a need for supplementing at the breast. It is well worth the extra effort!

  • what was the second sns thing you showed called? the one you put in the bottle?

  • Great news! I used the SNS for 2 days n by the 3rd day my baby learned to latch and nurse without it! What a miracle!

  • Thx 4 making this informative video on SNS!

  • @DearVegAbby You're very welcome!

  • Thanks for the review. Would you say this product is also the same as the medela starter kit? Because I hate that product! It did not work well for me at all.

  • @leeswifey85 You're welcome! Umm I am not 100% sure if it is or not since I haven't used it, but from what I found on the internet it looks to be almost the same. A SNS takes a lot of patience and determination I have found and seen so I am not surprised it doesn't work well for some. I have heard even some babies don't like the tubing either.

  • Awesome video! Do you remember that I posted a comment a while ago about this on your fb wall (we were commenting back and forth when he was still a newborn and you were struggling with breastfeeding) and you hadn't ever heard of it )and now look at you, you know more about it than me! haha I am so glad that you made this! I hope it helps so many moms who wouldn't have known that it existed! :)

  • @MandeeTheGreat To be honest I don't :( I feel bad I don't remember but there was so much going on at the time I barely even remember Dagney as a tiny baby. I hope it helps lots too. I think I should have used it and it probably would of done some good. Owell, better luck next time :D

  • It works great I used this for almost 7 months and started at day 2 of Annies life

  • @cassieconnell Thats awesome! I wished I had it for Dagney right from the start, I think it would of helped a ton!

  • Awesome product! I didn't know it existed

  • @CandidMommy It is!! I know, I didn't either until recently.

  • sometimes it is tough to get that tube in the baby's mouth without breaking the latch! if you're having problems with latch and are using a nipple shield anyway, i've heard you can put the tubing under the nipple shield and then latch the baby. though i wouldnt start using a nipple shield just for this reason...

    thanks for another great video!

  • @fakecrab That is what I have seen with my SIL trying to use hers. She mentioned taping it to be a lot easier and doesn't mess up the latch.

  • its so great that your so passionate about being helpful to other mommys! great vid!

  • @ReillyAJ Thank you! I just want to get the word out to help anyone I can since I know I would of loved the help myself.
