  • @skovkiosken I use bootcamp because it is 100% lag free (if your computer on mac is lag free, windows will be lag free. It runs just as good as the macside does.

  • @jaketsnyder Yup I definitely agree. With Bootcamp, the performance is a lot better than Parallels and Fusion. The only downside to that is that you cannot run Mac apps on it as you would be able to using Parallels/Fusion since you either boot into Windows OR Mac.

If you want to try out virualization software (like Fusion/Parallels), VirtualBox is a free version of such software and then with that you can decide if you like the virtualization of Windows or not.

  • when i try to run certain games on parallells it just crashes. really Good program but it keeps freezing and crashing but vmware dont

  • @skovkiosken Bootcamp is a little different than VMware Fusion and Parallels since you will be able to run only Mac OS X OR only Windows at a time, but not both at the same time.

I'm actually still using VMware because I've found it to be a little more stable than Parallels, but if you want faster speed and better graphics, Parallels might be a better choice for that. They both work well for school purposes though, just that Parallels faster to load things.
