Yes, I wanted to sell the Happauge since it seemed unnecessary to have two catpure devices. The Happauge was giving me trouble when I tested capturing PS2 footage. The $40 component to HDMI device converts everything to 720p@60hz so it's a godsend for 480i games. I'll have footage of a 480i game soon.
As for the trouble, not really. It's basically the same setup I had with the Hauppage but now only with one capture card.
What's the name of the component/HDMI converter your using?

that seems like a lot of trouble just to get 480P video from the Wii, why else did you do this? Or did you just want to get rid of the Hauppage?
