I think the point of the guitar solo was to make it more interesting for the sake of the game. It is GUITAR Hero after all. Actually I think the original would be better if Ritchie threw that solo in there on the original recording =D

Definitely one of the best Deep Purple songs, and at least on this Guitar hero, it sounds good, they made Smoke on the water, an awesome song, sound like crap on GH 1 and 2. I'd actually like to see Highway Star as DLC eventually.

I disagree, I think this version is better than the original. You can hear the guitar alot better which is my favorite part of the song. But most of the time their covers are much worst than the actual song.

actually u can figure out what u can and cant HO/PO like if its something u can the top of the note wont have a small black ring around the top white area so it will be just really with at the top and if u dont get that go to practice on thunderhorse and got to verse 3 and look at the fist note it has a small black circle around the top with part but the others dont
