Crysis 1 sucks on consoles because the XBOX 360 and PS3 were I think release in 2006 and unlike PC, no new console comes out each year. The consoles is like a 2006 PC. Pcs today will work great for Crysis. So lets wait for the new consoles and hope it's a lot better.

Yes it runs over 30 FPS, but hell they had to downgrade the graphics worse than PC low settings.

hmm... it's a pretty good job for crytek for remastering this in CryEngine 2 for console. but it made the story a bit changed on the nanosuit. we know that on PC, suit modes are selected, just what nanosuit 1.5 has. and on Crysis 2, well.... nanosuit 2.0 but in console, the nanosuit modes are just like nanosuit 2.0 and that version of nanosuit doesn't even exist at that time of story. but as you said earlier in the beginning, we can't expect everything to be exactly like the PC version

It's good that console players can play Crysis but PLEASE!!! Stop saying that consoles can do everything PC's can or that Crysis is pc gaming only exclusive. PC gaming has more exclusives than either the PS3 or Xbox.

But there's also content limitations. Consoles are restricted to disk space as well. Yes you can put it on multiple disks but that cost money. Looking at ME2 it likey costs twice as much to make 2 disks for the X360 version of it. SO that is expensive. Putting an MMO on consoles wopuld likely take

@gamer812 it would be likey 20 or so disks giving the size of thos games. B eing a former console gamer, I have to say cosnole are still fun. People still should consider PC gaming though. Ir costs much less if you build your own or have someone else build it for you. PC gaming is good if you can afford and once you get it is much much cheaper. No monthly fees, you just need to upgrade each gen, and you get games cheap as hell off steam. :D

@IsinitLong I agreed with your first post about PC's doing more than consoles but this is just ridiculous, Crysis was about 12GIG PS3 has a bluray player, bluray = 50GIG. PC Gaming is good, but for those who don't play games all the time and just want something they know that releases will work on they get consoles. Stop trying to force your opinions onto others. The ONLY reason this game is playing on this games outdated hardware is because it was fine tuned based on such hardware.

You have to look at the reality, it's only playing because they've optimized it for the 360, the 360 uses a video card based on a EVGA 7900GT, a card that the PC version would not run this game at all on.

Not too mention it's running on a system running no more than 1.5GHz of CPU power, and only 512MB's of ram, be real kid.

The lighting is better on the consoles obviously, but from what I can see the textures are insanely low res, the water effects are 10x shittier, and the nanosuit doesn't look nearly as good. Better lighting, everything else is worse. (The native lighting is better, but if you get a mod the pc lighting is just as good.
