well done mate :) i go out most weekends and do this, specially when it was all flooded out from the Queensland floods. made the river murray flood so it was easy pickings :), i could stand on the road and shoot them as they swam over it :P

You wanna help native fish? volunteer your time clearing weeds planting natives to stabilse river banks lobby your local agricultural area to stop cattle being run over said banks (the real cause of banks erosion) and a massive tax to un straighten re snag the murray darling to the way it was before whitey showed up.
Yep screw the limp wristed parasites from the animal libby groups and the RSPCA, all they want is to convert people into being Vegans - screw that I like meat, fish etc and no way known I will ever give into these piss weak excuses for humans!

@pissedofffranchisee you embarress yourself with statements like that, if you cared about the native environment (which i suspect you don't you just enjoy it and put nothing back expect maybe empty beer cans) you'd volunteer your time clearing riverways of rubbish with green teams help re snag locals rivers (something 90% of native fish require to feed and breed) plant native trees and learn more about the biolgy and history of mans magnificently distastrous intervention in the murray.
