Although my picture quality (when I recorded to YouTube) was not nearly as good as yours. Did you find any settings through your operating system or some other way to tinker with the video quality?

Thanks for this review. I was debating on whether to get a Hercules or this one and I'm pretty sure I'll be choosing the HP now because of the sound quality and picture of your review =] Since my current webcam gives blurry videos, doesn't have a mic, and is 6 years old, time to upgrade!

P.S Wow, after watching some of your rubix cube videos, you just made me want to try solving one since I could never do it, haha! Very impressive and can't believe you did it while skydiving! LOL, Way to go =]

@xxangelictonesxx Well I don't know how it'll perform in a room with insufficient lighting. Honestly, the lighting in the video wasn't the greatest so you can use that to judge too.

@nfarnham2008 That isn't entirely dependent on the camera. I've used it on Skype, ChatRoulette, and Yahoo Messenger and it works great.

Okay I found the HP webcam online at walmart and bestbuy, for 39.99, but it doesn't say anything about HP deluxe model. It says it has 8 MGP and 30 fps with the USB 2.0 input.

I bought the same one today. Gets a bit laggy when i record, your cam doesent seem to do that. What resolution did you use when you recorded?

I'm not too sure. I haven't messed with the settings at all since I've gotten the camera so whatever the default settings are is what I'm running at. I'll check later when I have a chance though. Let me know if you get it working.

webcam looks good Adam. Have you ever tried CNet for reviews? they have most products on there with their own reviews and user reviews too. Also you can always check Amazon and they have user reviews and sometimes user uploaded pictures of the product as well.
