  • What else is in the baby Koi pond?

  • @UsernameHerePeople just some fish i got from the river. i'm not even sure what kind they are :(

  • @billyvn99 >.> Uuuhh.....are they Koi friendly? How do you know they won't pick on the Koi? XD

  • is the algae natural??

  • @akifpatel85 yes, the algae is natural. must have came from the plant i bought at the store. also, the string algae can most likely developed over time.

  • it looks green and full of life, nice!

  • pond

  • how many gallons in the big koi pound ?

  • @yanaplumJB i think it is around 2000 gallons.

  • @billyvn99 ok thxs how many koi can i have in a 1100 pond ?

  • @yanaplumJB it really depend on the bio-filter and if the water is circulated regularly. My mom have a temp tank that's 500 gallons and it can hold 60 foot long koi for a month without any problem. the filter system for that tank is very mature and well developed, the pump also running 24/7 turning the water once every two hours. for your pond side with a developed filter can house 20 koi easily with minimal care. don't forget to aerate the pond. waterfall is a good aeration. no need for aerator

  • @billyvn99 ok thxs mate luv the koi in this vid

  • Cute

  • are those other fishes perch?

  • @renr1234 i'm not sure, i caught it at the colorado river, they do look like perch. Only one survive, i'll get you a pick when i get home.

  • @billyvn99 cool man

  • nice pond do you have any trouble with animals attacking your fish?

  • @chacoal luckily just cat but i have dogs now, a jindo, toy poodle and maltese ;)

  • @billyvn99 i have groundhogs in my back, idk what harm they can do but i think i also have a racoon stealing feeder goldfishm im thinkin of blding a screen over the pond

  • @chacoal screen would be necessary. you should choose a net/chicken wire that's in dark color so that you can still see the fish without removing it. i know racoon will definitely try to get the fish.

  • I love your koi pond
