if you're lookin for power, its an easy choice. if you want a sparkly chromed out truck that can do SOME work then cummins it is. If it's power you need then the Duramax is the way to go. Even in trailering, 3/4 ton dmax has 17,800 lbs trailering capacity.. 3/4 ton cummins has 13,450... Anyone who begs to differ just look up the stats. sorry, but it's true.

it sounds like a normal flowmaster with a diesel tone. but for a deeper louder tone go with a 5" tubro back system, no muffler

The Allison 1000 and 2000 are hands down the best trannys there are, Yeah you can break one with enough power. I have an lb7 duramax with the allison 1000 and the only problem ive had was a sensor. hmmm the guy talkin shit must be a ford or dodge man.

the allison tranny in the durmax trucks are the best, they only blow up if you dont warm it up properly, but thats the same with any trans. if u take care of them they will last you forever
