@saltyshellback that sir is my ATI,a badass 1911 thats made in the phillipines and only cost me $400 benjamins. I'm proud to report that after 50rds of shitty commie tula 230grn ball ammo the gun functined perfectly with no hiccups at all.Its made in the same area as Rock island Armorys.I put some pimped put dragon ivory grips from the bunker,also got a set of fine topless honey grips,for the weekend.lol.I got a nice M&P 9MM too,but everybody needs a 1911 & you don't have to pay 2k to get 1..8)
@1dabirdman I think I have the same gun, except it is soled under the Metro Arms American Classic II name. No problems with factory ammo. Had a little hiccup with some hand cast lead bullets. I even sized them, but it could have been the lube I used. Oh well, I only paid $450 bones out the door :-)
@saltyshellback yeah man id take it over a 2k kimber anyday.Its commander size & perfect for carry but its a little heavy.I still carry my M&P as id rather have 17rds of hollowpoint 9mm than 8rds of 45acp..The M&P i think is still more reliable but if i can get 100 more rds thru the 45 with no problems,i'll start carryin the 45,& give the 9mm to my wife.
@1dabirdman I am not really sure why someone would want a $2K gun of any sort when there are just as good less expensive alternatives. I guess it's a status thing.
