@dirtydresser5 there actually was a jtf 1. it didnt, it was run by the mounties and did not work out so it was discontinued. Thus the military picked it up and thats why it is called JTF "2"
I think most of that is CSOR. CBC did a show about them training in BC I think it was when they were forming and that seems to be the terrain they were training in. Also the pic at .0:26 seems to be American equipment. Maybe they can get their hands on US gear but I think most C9's in the CF are still the older configuration, A1 setup.
worked with JTF2 as enemy force in training when I was in the military and old airborne reg as well.
both were awesome and I feel lucky to have been picked to work with them, all I can say is damn these guys, above my level and learned so much from them. They are a special type of soldier and god bless them.
I will say as a top soldier in my company who was confident in situations, I would not want to be on the other side of them, they are truly that good

Looking at some of the comments here, I can guess most of the people responding are from the US. Really, if you want to comment on something, leave out your own biased views of it. If you think that the US army is so good, then sure. It's your view. Just a heads up fellas, the canadian forces standard issue service rifle is called a C7 not 8. The only difference with a 7 or an 8 is length of the barrel, not the colour etc... and most of the time one would not carry a C8 as they are less acurate and only good for close quarter battle.

If you think that the US army is so good, then sure. It's your view. Who knows what you are supposed go be doing. A real soldier in the American Army told me that Canadians mostly work in the mess hall or in sanitation. I guess everyone should do their part, but don't ever compare those fags you call soldiers to the real heros in the American military, foreigner.

Just a heads up fellas, the canadian forces standard issue service rifle is called a C7 not 8. The only difference with a 7 or an 8 is length of the barrel, not the colour etc... and most of the time one would not carry a C8 as they are less acurate and only good for close quarter battle.

C8s are for armoured personelle, so they don't carrie long weapons in vehicles, so they have smaller ones

US military? That's all Canadian dumbshit. We have mostly the same equipment as you, except we have less troops, but ours are more professional.
You can tell the rifles are C8s in the pictures because of their green camo and retractable stocks.
