I agree. I do high school productions...the is the first HS production of this that I've seen and I think it's very well done! Obviously it isn't perfect, but then, what is? This is my absolute favorite musical and I'm hoping to do it someday. Thanks for the upload and, again, great job!

This is SUCH a hard show to do at a high school, mainly because of talent. For a high school production, this is honestly really good. People shouldn't be so hard on these people!
I suppose it's decent for a school play.. BUT you guys could've watched the TAC videos on Youtube and picked up a few tidbits..... I mean, rephrased, the voices are NOT good!
Did you guys have no set? I wish our performances were being filmed. We have a middle 7 foot platform, and two 5 foot platforms on either side of them, with staircases connecting it all.... One day more looks Epic. Then the Barricade flies in from the top of the 7 foot platform.
i crinched wright through that. the audience only acts the same because they have kids in the show! Ive seen college musicals do the same and dosnt compare as the singing was not great by any streach of the imagination, the customes and stage setup looks good thou
I just watched this performance then watched the video of the same song sung by the original London cast in a reunion performance and, while the professionalism of the singing obviously differs, the effect on the audience is almost identical. The power of beautiful music! Well done.
Jefferson that is the best comment I have read about high school or college productions of this. I find people so harsh on them and yet you cannot compare to the pro's really.. I have just watched the 10th anniversary show again. It is very true what you say about the power of the beautiful music! great great comment, thank you. I have tried to put this down but yours came out PERFECT! the audiences reactions actually fills me up
-the reunion performance i watched had the 17 Valjeans
it's actually quite good a few off key but for their ages not that bad. wished i had the chance to do this when I was yonger. have been able to sing every part since the age of 4. love it well done guys.
For a young group of folks this was very well done. This is a tough show to perform and this song is really hard to pull off with all the voices blending. You pulled it off in my opinion.
it probably sounded young because they are young with val jean, eponine and enjorlas,thenardier being aged 13, the rest were between 11 and 16 with the exception of marius who was alittle older. thanx for the comment

Shame marius and cosette didnt harmonise really. And that marius was constantly sharp.
Thought Valjeans voice was a little immature for the part too.
