Php is basically a web programming language. Html is a markup langauge, it' basically a bunch of notation that tells the computer how to format a page, you are very limited in what you can do, and it's very basic. Slightly better than that is cascading style sheets, which give you tons of options on how to arrange a website, but it's still not a web programming language. Languages like php and java-script give you ability to use programming concepts with a html page.

i still cant get the Apache to work even though i am not running IIS, went into service as mentioned in the video but there was so many things running , i didnt know which one could be preventing apache

i tryed to install xampp on my browser but it wouldent save, i finatly used ie to download it and it worked! if you have a downloading problem try useing ie

php isnt working then. the hi is just html. get a book called"php solutions". it helped me a lot.
