@mortsey Depending on what you mean by hippy. If you mean druggy, eastern mystic and angry rebellion for little cause, then no. But If you mean radical, not "fit for society" and oriented towards love above all else, you can see a few similarities. Maybe it's not so much that Christ and his followers were hippies as that occasionally, one hippy or another, with grace, may show a little bit of Christ's love. Even if they don't know it. After all, Jesus can work through anyone.

Why do a lot of Evangelicals portray Christ and his followers as hippies? There is very little in common between the hippy movement and Christ.
