  • I've been lifting for over 10 years and haven't seen muscles due to my poor diet until recently. If you spend time in the gym to build muscles, you're cheating yourself out of that hard work if you don't eat right.

    Muscles are built in the gym but revealed in the kitchen!

  • @afgmuscl3 I don't know, but the whole junk in = junk out idea is pretty accurate. Junk food has so much stuff in there besides carbs, fat, and proteins, which your body has to metabolize them into compounds it can excrete. Remember, one major way you excrete waste is through sweat, so you end up having foul smelling compounds in your sweat. Gross!

  • @TheRussellGb Working out your Abs alone will not shrink your belly. You need to be doing cardio as well as eating properly and lifting. There is no such thing as spot fat removal. The only way to lose your belly is to lose fat every where else. I recommend Scoobysworkshop.c()m He has numerous videos about this as well as a few articles which are short and can entertain even a short attention span.

  • @TheRussellGb No dont run, walk at a brisk pace at most. running burns fat and muscle. If you want to gain size eat a lot of carbs and protein and be in a caloric surplus.

  • @Devin1400 running burns fat AND muscle? That's the most stupidest thing i've heard all day. Running does NOT burn muscle. Unless of course, you're a 'really-long-distance' runner!

    Running is much more effective and faster than walking at a quick pace. You should only walk if your muscles are delicate (you are old) or if you can't handle running (you are fat & make better progress walking). I suggest you don't give advice to newbies if you need advice yourself, it'll just be a chain reaction.

  • @lcabod If your heart rate is above 80% of your maximum it burns both fat and muscle. That's why walking at a brisk pace is better, because it never gets that high. Running often times gets in this range. Do you see any runners with muscle? no they are all skinny as fuck

  • @Devin1400 Wrong again. Of course I see runners with little muscle. Professional runners tend to have less muscle because they know they shouldn't lift too much weights. Muscles are good, but they will slow you down a little, and runners want all the speed they can get. However, I have seen bodybuilders that run MILES. They run because it's good for your health, and it's a great way to lose fat. PLEASE do some research instead of using your biased brain. Let ppl run, YOU can walk all you want...

  • @Devin1400 O-K i think you're confused. I agree, muscle can and will be burned if you run, but that's if you run LONG MILES and burn thousands of calories.. Muscle will not magically be consumed by your body if you run for an hour-4 hours... And what's up with you saying walking is better than running? Are you an old man, or are you not strong enough to run? Only give this advice to fat people. Running is one of the most simplest and most effective way to lose weight WHILE gaining muscle.

  • @TheRussellGb do cardio even though you are trying to gain muscle size. Cardio includes running, swimming, jump roping, boxing, etc. As long as you eat enough everyday, you won't lose muscle. You CAN gain muscle while losing fat. This way, you don't have to gain all your muscle first, then lose weight and vice versa

  • @AhmedTdot rule of thumb is to not let yourself feel hungry. For most people, eating every 3 to 4 hours does the job (assuming you counting your calories so that you do not exceed what you need for the day) good luck!

I ask this because I notice that I have put on fat when using supplments, but i'm not sure if the diet can fully help me get where I want, I feel less aches if I have a shake too.

  • Theres an ipod (touch) that has all these in 2 applications 1 for working out and the other for meal plans but the only difference is no one will be helping u but u make ur own meal plan. Id get an ipod instead and just workout with scott ;)

  • @MrGBZ Anabolics are the most important about your trainning. Beside, you don't need a great meals, only some shake milk. You can get out to show everybody your ripped body.

It simplifies everything well enough that even beginners can efficiently plan how to eat correctly to attain their goals, and gives those with experience an easy way to look at more options if they're bored with their current routine of eating with goals in mind, which I certainly was. Scott, you're awesome and more people should be telling you thank you for making it so easy to get into better shape thanks to your efforts at making these videos.

  • Maybe I was an ass, I agree that I probably didn't have to state that Scott Herman thinks too highly about himself; everyone can see that for themselves. By promoting Scooby I was attempting to increase his fan base, as well as, save people money. Let me ask something, if you have two options that are almost completely the same but you have to pay for one and the other one is free, which one would you use? I was merely showing people a different choice; which IMO is the better choice.

  • i signed up tonight, and after busting my ass in the gym for months, im getting muscle but the gut wouldn't disappear, now i know why, i wasnt eating enough!!!! im in iraq and eat only 2 real meals a day, and after snacks i was around 600 calories below where i should, ( so unknown to me my body though i was starving)......this things is great!!!! def worth 10 bucks a month
