I still remember the day I heard of his death. I was 18, in college, and had loved him since I was 13 or 14 when I saw him as Holmes. I got home one day, and my mother told me she heard of his death on NPR.

Right then and there, I cried. I couldn't talk, my throat was so tight. I remember being worried that my mother would see me and think me foolish. It was a struggle to keep quiet.

It's just so great to remember him this way.
