IMO it all depends on what your looking for in a fighter, if you want a standoff fighter the Raptor is your best choice, if your looking for a fighter that emphasizes dog fighting capabilities you'll probably want an Su37 or the Su47 being as soviets tend to build more durable planes which is what you'd want in a dogfighter,other than that, thier all very formidable aircraft in a Mig15 vs. F86 sorta way.

well the truth is that teh F22 is the most capable aircraft overall. It is completely stealth and has incredibly manourvebillity. The eurofighter is very agile too, but not the same as teh raptor. The only country that really threats teh raptor is Russia. Just because the eurofighter wins a simulated battle, it dosn't make it better.

If the EF ever went to war agains the F22, and won. Then it will have preoven it self to be better. Again im not saying in any way teh the EF isent a good fighter, however the Raptor is more advanced.

Well,my personal opinion(it's neutral)is that f22 is the best fighter in the world currently but not that much superior like Americans say(cause others are building stealth planes too)and it's definetely better than some 20 year old planes Russians like to compare it with(srsly compare it to your newest planes not mig29 or smt like that).

SR71 Blackbird: Uses 2 PW J58's to power it's heavy 67,500 pounds to a top speed of over 2,500mph and those old engines are putting out 32,000 pounds of thrust each.
F22 Raptor: Uses 2 PW F119's to power it's light 43,430 pounds to a top speed of?

Here's some facts I dug up that might be interesting to the F-22 lovers out there:
(due to it's classified top speed) Only one down fall to many composite plastics used in the airframe to sustain speeds at well if I figure right somewhere near 3,000 mph!!!! here's the data...

The F22 Raptor Stealth Fighter can definitely defeat China's J-10 Vigorous Dragon No Doubt about that! I wonder can the Chinese built their own Stealth Fighter?. I hope their Technology is not that much as par with the Americans.. But the J-10 Fighter Jet looks similar to the Eurofighter Typhoon!? But I think is much similar to Israel's LAVI Program. =)

on technological generations, Lavi/J-10 is 4.5th generation
F-16 block 60 is 4.5th generation.
F-22 is either 5th or maybe 5.5th generation depends on later versions.

IMO it all depends on what your looking for in a fighter, if you want a standoff fighter the Raptor is your best choice, if your looking for a fighter that emphasizes dog fighting capabilities you'll probably want an Su37 or the Su47 being as soviets tend to build more durable planes which is what you'd want in a dogfighter,other than that, thier all very formidable aircraft in a Mig15 vs. F86 sorta way.

yes they may, but if you research that there pilots suck, so if we would take there a/c and our pilots = one hell of a mix. but the F-22 and the F-35 is one good team of a/c. and then throw in the B-1, and then the A-10.
