  • Use nitrile gloves so that you don't have that problem and less mess! :)

  • I have read that you need to heat it to 240 degrees slowly then take off the heat. I've gotten a cooking thermometer and at 240 degrees it says 'softball' so it sounds about right to me. Haven't tried it with it yet. made some today before I got it and ended up with syrup on the first go and a hard candy on the second. Hope this helps, will try again soon and let everyone know how it worked out.

  • @youareacrapface yes it in over a long period of doing this you won't have any hair in that area

  • im going to try this i hope it really works on rough hair!

  • is this better than regular waxing?

  • Clean legs,dirty room XD

  • how do you make the wax? and can you use it on you arms?

  • @youareacrapface its in the vid description. And not sure if you can use it on your arms.

  • I did this technique for the first time on my legs...it worked very well, only my fingers started hurting and my skin from the middle finger riped off.......why?

  • she doesn't even have hair e_e

  • DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY WE HAVE TO USE LEMON JUICE?! eff that. I looked up more recipes, found one and i used whatever measurement i wanted and got equal quantities of WATER, SUGAR, and HONEY.

  • made this long time ago.I think possible mistakes are :

1.lemon sourness can vary and make your paste non sticky,or if you lack just a bit of lemon juice, the paste will be too sticky and you'll need strips or something.

2.Another problem is that once you add all ingredients it is hard too add what you lack (like if you want too add more sugar when it's runny),only way to do it is to overcook it or burn it.tho, i'm willing to try this again.if i get right recipe,i would definitely share it :)

  • i cant make my wax look like urs!

  • Dude..U dont even have hair to wax =/

  • i did this like 6 times and it doesnt work after sitting for 5 minutes after cooking it turns into hard tack..

  • @AmiNicol3 u cooked it too long

  • i made this twice, first time it didnt pull any hair, second time it didnt "stick" to my skin :(

  • why do you have to use lemon juice?

  • Was keen to try this. Did all the steps. It happened in 8mins total. Took it off stirred away the bubbles let it cool in a container.

Wasnt sticky enough. Hardened way to fast. I think it overlooked?

  • <3 Thumbs up for the messy room=)

  • @megasuperruth lol <3

@coffeekoneko you add tons of water and boil it, then leave it cool then was:)

    .....culinary school caramel experience =)

  • oops i accidentally used brown sugar.. think it will still work?

  • i can't seem to get the wax all gooey.. it's been in the pot boiling and boiling but it hasn't change a bit. Is this normal?!

  • WORKS GREAT

  • How do you get it to be so stretchy like yours? when i try to apply it after the 4th time it starts coming off from the top.

  • I found a recipe that called for 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup lemon juice. i realized i screwed the mix up after seeing all these other recipes saying 1/4 water/lemon juice. how do I fix it?

  • My sugar wax is too sticky and I can't even get it into a ball or anything...It's just a gooey mess. D: How do I fix this problem?

  • @pajohn91 I think its because of the electric stove she uses. Same happens to me so i use the cotton strips

  • does it hurt? Well... actually i mean how much does it hurt? Is it safe to use on ur peach fuzz? SUm 1 PLEAZE reply! And how long does it last? ANd Also, will your hair grow back thicker? Sryy for all the question, but plllllzzzz reply! thanks

  • @OmgItsMomoGirl its the pain isnt so bad, its like waxing with wax strips, but a little less painfull. Its safe to use on peach fuzz, its lasts about the same time as waxing does, once again. and Your hair wont grow back thicker, it will be thinner and lighter (:

  • does it work for bikini? (:

  • @caitlinraesin Yes, but there are certain circumstances. I myself use this as a bikini wax and more... But, honestly, the circumstances will vary with different people.. I mean, I have very thin hair, and I'm pretty tolerate to pain, but it still hurts like hell (the first times). And the reasons why It hurt so bad the first time is because I was unaware that there are certain techniques you have to know when waxing this way. Plus, I was new to it, and after a while you get used to it.

  • oh and pull the hairs AGAINST its hairgrowth like you would do with any wax. If you pull in the same direction as the hair grows, you will get ingrown hairs!

  • @Sitara04 I've read the opposite. I watched a video of sugar pasting from a salon and they said that if you pull it away from the direction of the hair, it is MORE likely to give you ingrowns, and it only breaks the hair off and doesn't rip it from under the skin, which, of course, means faster regrowth.

  • ive been making this and using it for a while now,

I make it just by following the instructions and doing the spoon+water trick to see when its ready, Pour it into a container and put into fridge to make it cool faster. Now i found it to work sooo much better when the sugar is solid enough to make a huge ball out of it and spread it onto the area you want to remove the hairs from, and then yank it off.

  • I don't understand step 3's parenthesis... please help?):

  • omg i tryed making this.... i got a 3rd degree burn it spilled on me :(

  • okay so i made this the other day and its too "watery" and sticky to use as a paste. every time i scoop out some it sticks to my fingers and i can't do anything with it! i followed everything you told us to do in your other video, but why can't i use it?!?! i really want to use this before school starts so someone please help me!

  • I tried making the wax and when i reheated it in a plastic container it melted through and got all over the microwave tray and when i ran water over it, it hardened really fast so i cut my finger on it :(

  • I seriously just used pickle juice (from the inside of the jar) in place of lemon juice. I'm using strips, and this works just as well!!

  • oh my gosh! harder than it looks. mine looks like hard candy, not paste and turned out a mess and a disaster. It just looked like a was putting hot honey on my legs. help??? :/

  • why is the paste you made in the other videos a clear amber color but the paste in this video is an off white color? but then in the background i see a container with the clear amber colored paste.. im confused!!

  • @MissHairGuru same thing happened to me after I made mine, after you use it for a couple minutes its more of a taffy consistency... basically your pulling taffy just on your leg lol

  • omg just freakin buy it if you're going to go through that lol

  • @gpworx Omg, hard wax that you buy from the store is SUPER PAINFUL, MUCH more painful that the sugar wx (personally). It's super sticky, and messy, and it will only come off with the tiniest bottle of oil that they supply with the wax. So, my personal experience with the store wax was much worse than the sugar wax. But you know, we're all different, it might work much better for others. I just had a very hard time with it..

  • Burned the crap out of myself with this twice >__< LET IT COOL

  • @bella777851

I'm 13 and just made a small batch in the microwave I will post a after wax comment on this video for ya

  • amy gow to make that kind of wax ?

  • oh wow heehee um does it um h-hurt when you do this? please anyone answer and would you recommend this for a 13 year old girl?

  • Thanks, worked like a charm!!! The first time I didn't cook it long enough, the second time I left it on and walked awy for a minute an it burned. The third time I followed you instructions to the letter and "WALLA" You saved me a hundred bucks. I saw a lot of bad videos before I got to your. Thanks again. If you accept donations email me your info.

  • @Amy11190 Your wax seems so much better than mine, mine ends up sticky but then really hard..Am I over cooking it? :/

  • yummy!

  • I've made it a couple times using her directions and it worked pretty well. It does hurt (I mean, you're pulling out hair) but not nearly as much as an epilator, so I like it a lot. My biggest problem is loss of effectiveness...once it cools, it's fine when I first use it, but then it starts to get gooey and flings all over instead of coming off clean with hair. Because of this, a batch is barely enough for one calf. :( It gets very messy. I have to use it several times in the same spot.

  • my sugar wax doesnt look like that is hasa golden color and its way to sticky cant even make it into a ball it sticks to my fingers right away. any suggestions?

  • @bubbamuck69 Make sure you cook at least 13 mins, and use a themometer to ensure you have a temp of 240 degrees F. Pour it in a pan and let it cool, then take some out and stretch it until in turns a beige color, then apply to skin. Good luck!

  • Do you have to use lemon juice?? Or can you use lime?

  • @musicmonkey1011 yes you can use lime juice or even orange juice

  • does this work? does it cause ingrowns? and i dont see any hair on your legs (:

  • how do you dispose of it? like the sugar was that has the hair in it

  • I made a sugar wax the other day... I'll check out your recipe... your wax looks yellow and mine was dark like molasses. Works great though :)

  • @asterismxx It looks yellow because she kneeded the wax.

  • i used to use this wax, its an arab thing-- anyways, so i was using my thumb to rip it up and it was only hurting a little but when i got to half way, my thumb was on FIRE!! i had to keep it in a glass of ice water, the skin was all bubbly and red.. it was gross

the next week, guess what i done- made my mum make it again so i can try a new way of ripping it off--what?? it worked so well.. i had to try

  • Now the real question is how do i get all of this damn sugar paste out of my pan.

  • @coffeekoneko put some water in it and boil it off. Sometimes it will scrape off after. That's what happend to me too:P

  • @coffeekoneko It should pretty much dissolve with warm water

  • @coffeekoneko you may try washing it with hot water..

  • @coffeekoneko Well, honestly this may sound crazy, but I put mine in a metal bowl (Since I don't have a microwave) and I cover it with aluminum foil, and store it. And when ever I need again, I just go and heat it up (Just so it will be warm enough though) which doesn't take long. I just fit the bowl on top of boiling water; until it's hot, not too hot, kinda warm, just not too warm.. Enough to touch =]..

Now, you can try this if you want, it works for me, hopefully it'll work for you as well.

  • @coffeekoneko since it is sugary, just leave warm water in it until it softens completely. If you've burnt it...well,it can take days xD

  • @coffeekoneko with oil.

  • @coffeekoneko water.... its water soluable so just boil some more water in it. and it should desolve. then dump it down the drain

  • @coffeekoneko I put the pan in the sink and run hot water on it, eventually the water starts steaming. Just leave it, in about two minutes, put it on cold water to cool down the pan, then pick it up and pour out the water, SQUEAKY CLEAN!! WHOOP WHOOP! :-D

  • I made caramel instead -__- I tried it a second time and its not sticking..i guess im too slow

  • @Killaskitch lmao, that was so funny. dont worry, i tried it twice and i just made hard candy...it was pretty though

  • @TheRoyalEmpress remove it from the heat before it turns dark golden brown, i removed it when its yellowish, a trick is to get some in a spoon and run it under cold water and then check the consistency :) and it really does work! i messed up the first time but then the second it worked:) and it hurts MUCH less than waxing and epilating, much less

  • When mine becomes that color it starts to get to sticky and won't come off my skin, does that mean that I'm Doing something or is it just time to take another piece?

  • Does it hurt at all? Are there any areas you should avoid using it or is it safe for evrywhere?

  • looks really messy ...

  • does it take that many tries to get the hair out?? :o

  • i ve tried so many times, i did all according to yr description, and it doesnt work, after it colls itself, it became hard :( what to do ?

  • @ChokoJazz keep wetting it with water and streching it over and over untill its smooth

  • @givemeyoureyeslord ok thanks dear, i will try to do as you say

  • I tried to make the sugar paste my self, but it got hard really quickly and I couldnt get it to stick on my leg. If I put it on to soon, I burned my self. It looks like your wax is soft and easy to work with?

What am I doing wrong? My wax also was alot darker the yours?

  • @BrittBove i have same problem

  • @BrittBove I use a blow drier to keep it warm

  • @BrittBove You need to put it in between your hands and "roll it" (I actually don't know how to explain, because i'm from croatia, so I don't know english so good xD ). aniway, your arms are much hotter than the wax is, so when you roll it, it becomes soft. and don't take the wax so soon, because you'll burn yourself, as you said. wait for about 15 minutes and then roll it and do the depilation.

    I hope you'll try agen :)

  • @BrittBove its burnt :( mine came out the same way :(

  • @BrittBove i just cooked it too much

  • Please don't chew gum when you're talking .. PLEASE .. it's annoying :(

  • Can you just put it in the microwave?

  • Can you use this on other areas such as the stomach, arms, or underarms??

  • @88TwilightFan88 yes, why not?

  • can I add bit of honey?

  • do you just roll it into a ball after its cooled? or is there a certin way of doing it?

  • rocket science :D im a guy lol

  • does it hurt?

  • Thanks so much for the awesome tutorial. I did it on my arms and it worked great! About how long do you let the hair on your legs grow out?

  • how to make it? :o

  • TiPs~ If when you smear it on there, and when you take it off, its like still runny and wet on your skin, you under cooked it. I use this recipe for my eyebrows, 4 tablespoons of sugar, half white half brown. Half of a table spoon of lemon juice, honey and water. Mix together and put it in the microwave for about 1 minute. To test it, put it on a spoon, put it under cold water until its cold enough to touch. If when you thouch its, its sticky but you can get it off, its ready. Hope I helped!(:

  • darn... when i finish letting it cool the wax turns really dark brown and its solid. What did i do wrong? I've tried several recipies. Adding more water helped but won't make it stick. im abt to give up unless someone has any tips ive wasted like 8 cups of sugar already. This recipie you have on your channel has to be wrong and I'm now out of limes damn it lol help? O___o

  • @True2TheBlueYoViGang it's suppossed to go hard... reheat it before use.

  • i burned it.. i was stuck with "hard candy" i found out a great recipie wich i have got down to the core... 1 cup sugar, 2 tablspoons water, 2 tblspoons limejuice... boil, as soon as it boils, drop heat to medium-medium/low and cook less than 5 min... i dont have space to give details for newbs.. but i made it perfect... sometimes ALL the crystals aren't melted but i found as it dries... it keeps COOKING (wtf?).. so they eventually melt.. so when its done (for me) its still uncooked tecnically..

  • von aufräumen hat sie wohl noch nie etwas gehört

  • How did you make your become a creamy colour??

  • lol it really works???

  • Hi, i dont have any lemon or lime, i was wondering what els could i use instead.. maybe vinegar?? or does it matter if I don't use lemon

  • @Musicbizz100 i have does this a couple of times now, i use vinegar instead.. works well!

  • i love your instructions!!! thank you!!! im trying it as we speak

  • I really hate this method. It's sticky and messy and Its takes a lot of practice. It's also very hard to make the wax. The only thing good about it is it's cheap and it hurts less. Unless you have the patience, I would recommend regular waxing for the average person.

  • One question how do u get it off of ur hand when u r done? With water or somethign?

  • @swtgirl8419 I heard that warm water works

  • @swtgirl8419 you just wash it off and it'll come off really easily... it's just sugar, water and lemon juice..XD

  • This works well and its actually arabian way of waxing!

  • I use this method monthly and it works the result is amazing

u feel so sof and fair , plus hair takes long time to grow about 20 days

    Tips:

1 it wont work if you have ur skin moistured before

it's better not to moisture at all in the same day

2 when making the recipe dont use much lemon juice only few drops

3 its better to use white sugar

this method 's plus : fair, soft and very clean skin

    downs: painful, takes long time

  • @00Caffeine00 does the wax have to be warm to use? or can i use it cold?

  • @xFunkyGirlzx

you could either heat it in microwave for 10 seconds or just rub it abit with ur hand be4 u start

    I prefer using microwave

but be careful not 2 get burned

  • how did you make it gooey so you could hold it in your hand?? lol it looks cool and i cant do it

  • i tried this ...and mine was a dark brown..and it got really hard and i tried to like scrape it with my nails..i ended up cutting my finger open..so..thanks .. i guess

  • Can i use lime instead?

  • hi there, could you please tell me the recipe for this? i just tried the "2 c. sugar, 1/4lemon juice, 1/4 water" and it didnt get to that consistency...it was a disaster!

Also how long do u cook it for?

    thanks :(

  • i tried this and it looked like it removed the hair but when i got done my leg still felt prickly. what did i do wrong?

  • it didnt work for me , it didnt stick to my skin :(

so i tried it while it was still more watery , and i kinda burned myself :(

  • i've heard that body sugaring can become permanent if you use it continuously. Is it true, and how long do you have to use it. thanks.

  • how bad does it hurt?

  • does it hurt?

  • ok, so i did th same instructions, however, ill start once its cooled a bit.. next to being totally cold... and it will work for a few pulls, but then it starts to get gooy, and like stringy... i add more new sugar ontop to try to pull it off, but it gets in with the old stuff and then its stuck to my leg... any advice?

  • can you use this on the face?

  • hey silly, you have to use babypower before you use this...so it doesnt stick...

  • Does it come off your fingers with water?

  • that is one messy room...lol, sorry

  • so can we use this for underarms?

  • you have a messy room like me!!! :)

  • sex bracelets...

  • @HBLiebedich how are they sex bracelets?

  • @LilMsYummyTreat........... lol sex bracelets are gelly bracelets like those :P when a guy or girl snaps them, they have to do somthing sexual (depending on the color)

I do not play this game... but i know people who do.... also its on the enternet lawls :P

  • tidy up your room before you make your video ;)

  • it hurts so much T.T

  • Does it hurt?

  • I made it exactly how it describes to make it...but it looks nothing like what is on this girl's leg!!! :-(

  • @msheathernc1 if it is like a dark red-something then it's right this one is used so the more you use it the lighter it gets so she would have to throw it away son after this ( or at least it was like that by me) just google sugaring recipe and you can find a picture off it while it is cooking and then when it is finnist hope this helped

    hope I helped :)

  • @msheathernc1 what she hasn't clarified in this video (maybe she's done it in another) is that for the legs your first take about 20 grams of the brownish-amber sugar-wax, and KNEAD it between your fingers, stretch it out for about five minutes, till it becomes almost white like in this video. Then you do what she's doing!

Here's a link that really shows how to do the whole thing (though I prefer this girl's putting UPWARDS and pulling DOWNWARDS technique).

  • I tried it, my arms and thigh were great except for my legs I got red bumps.. a lot 0_x .. is it normal? or is it my hair is thicker on my leg part.. how will the bumps disappear pls.. i need HELP...

  • I tried it and I died.

  • @Edwardhatescheese me too..

  • @Edwardhatescheese lol does it hurt?? i wanna try soo badd im probley gonna make it now but it soo messy to clean.....

  • @lolococoxD It depends on how much you tolerate pain... I guarantee you youre going to make a huge mess, and you -are- going to get burned.

  • @Edwardhatescheese LMFAO!! HAHA ROFL xD

  • masz zajebisty burdel w pokoju dziewczyno...

  • Your room looks as messy as mine lol.

  • isn't this called halawa???

  • @TheEffectGirl yes it is.

  • this looks different from the other video of yours

  • i burnt my skin

  • How did u get the sugar wax 2 b that color?

  • @girlsinhats6 It starts out a transparent caramel color and when you start to use it, it will gradually turn whiteish.

  • I tried using this and the sugar wax kept warming up too much with my body heat to the point that it was getting too sticky to use. I was wondering, does this mean I needed to cook it a little bit more? Or is my body heat just ruining the wax for me?

  • Comment removed

  • Oh I just found your recipe video so thanks. One question tho, do you have to heat it up in order to use it? Like if I let my recipe sit and it got cold do I need to warm it or can I use it right out of the container?

  • Thank you for posting. I wish you had posted the recipe tho. Thumbs up for you :)

  • i use the recipe but my wax is gpingt to be hard after 1 min when i use it on my leg is it normal?

  • i think you are supposed to peel it off the other way ie against hair growth.this way you get more hair removed and it will be a much cleaner finish

  • @private4eva everyones hair grows in a different direction

  • nice leggssssssss ; )

  • Best advice is make a new video doing it correctly. Wax is to be taught by profesionals.

  • @faina012 you're not strange at all ! It just depends on genes, because when I was young, I was pretty hairy myself. hahah

  • you are so nice i like that to try cook

  • it jus looks tastey

  • can you do like a full one tutorial video where you make and use the syger wax the ball wax way .. pls ... waiting

  • spread down, rip up!!!!!

  • i really want to know why ur sugar wax is so white my sugar wax get always a caramel colour hmm and dont make my skin very nice

can u tell me how much sugar (in gramm)and lemon and water (in liter ) u put in it and how long do you cook it

    thank you

  • She is also spreading the wac incorrect. Spread with the direction of the hair growth not away. This should be taught by profesionals only.

  • @smoochielipz21 I read articles on the net and it said that it should be in the opposite direction of hair growth.
