Synthroid doesn't work long term. Most people don't covnvert enough of it to the active T3 needed for the body. Natural dessicated thyroid is a much better choice.

I have been living in a fog for the 3 years I have been taking Levothyroxine, putting on weight and lethargic howerver all tests said I was ok.

The instructions say,"Take with water before food". That is what I was doing.

I have now found out from the internet that you must take them with water, on an empty stomach, about an hour before food.

At last I am out the fog, loosing weight, better sense of smell and taste and raring to go.

The packet instructions are misleading and dangerous
