  • "It's 1981 and I am walking down to a party at my mates house with my new Human League Vinyl LP "DARE" under my arm. I am 15 years old and life is good :-)". So good to know this amazing group are still around :-)

  • Blind Youth Take Hope

    You're No Joe Soap

    Your Time Is Due

    Big Fun, Come Soon

  • human league for life!

  • all of the Musicians that you are talking about were ahead of their time, their music and lyrics were so intelligent and about real and thought provoking issues that at 18 I may not have recognised - 30 years later at nearly 50 years old I can listen to this, Devo, Japan et al and appreicate on another level entirely!

  • unbelievable that it´s from 1979!

  • tune

  • Pretty cool where u get that vinyl

  • @huns24: Bought it in 1988 when it was reissued.

  • The lyrics on this song are truly abysmal

  • wow....nothing sounded like this in 79.

Nice drum machine track and synths.

  • @pmsan29

Actually Devo sounded like that, in their own way of course.

  • @WoodRatGirl devo sounded like no else, fair play, and they still hold that mantle pretty solidly to this day. i mean their old stuff, their new album is mostly shiite

  • @pmsan29

Actually Gary Numan sounded ahead of his time back then.

  • @WoodRatGirl I have to say KraftWerk are the ones ahead of their time. Take the 1977 Trans Europe Express for instence.

  • got the album ;-)

i believe they tried to ban the cover photo!!!!!!!

  • Can you still buy the album i had it on cassette which got chewed up which i never replaced

  • i very much doubt it have a look on evil bay

  • cool

  • Dehumanisation is such a big word

It's been around since Richard the Third!

  • Agreed , Joe Soap

  • gotta be one of the best lines in music history!! First time I heard it when I played this LP I burst out laughing.

Phil Oakey had corny (and funny) sense of humour.

If you haven't heard it, listen to 'The Black Hit of Space (Travelogue)'...

  • Was that Phil Oakey's arm I saw?

Nice video and good sound! Excellent song of course...
