Just letting you know, he probably has an afterburner kit. Which, with a V6 and 4-cylinder only works with a Nitrous Oxide injection.

And seeing as the Tiburon only comes in V6 at max, that would be why.

As well, he could have a Bypass Valve for the car, which would be near silent at such engine RPM.

turbos are not silent you would here them i am a car enthousiast you can here the difference between na and turbo i have twin turbos on my dodge charger str8. you can here the flame ignitte after the car has finished revving it is fake trust me its a retarded exhaust that i see people waste their money on every day

@jowl30 A Bov is where you hear the whistle. The stock genny doesnt have a a BOV yet it is turbod.

@Charlietheleet wrong the blow off valve activates when the throttle body shuts and the intercooler piping contains a pressure higher then before the bov sences this and lets the excess pressure out causing a chew sound depending on the type of bov the turbo its self creates the whistle not the bov the bov does not effect the sound of the turbo at all untill the throttle body is closed and the pressure sets the bov off it will make a sound for a second just one noise (depending on the bov)
