question is, with all the remakes of movies lately , will they remake this one. i've got this one on tape too, most add's skipped from rec. i could see vin diesel as the castaway capt..
I remember how smug and self righteous Michael Eisner was at the time of this movies release....Like he knew it was going to be a series to compete with the likes of serious scifi like Star Trek The Next Gen and the many other shows to come.
You're right, of course. My memory was fuzzy, I was assuming 4 parts due to its 4 hour length (with commercials.) But now that I think about it, it only had the one 'To Be Continued' ending during the fight next to the smoking pit.
wow, crazy internet... who'd've thunk that there'd be anything in the net about something as obscure as Earth Star Voyager? Major flashback. I really dug this movie at the time.
Hmm 1988. Hard to believe it was that long ago. If they brought the cast back together now, it would be just about right to portray them coming home after their 26 year round trip.
More....more! More trivia: the visual effects were produced by Richard Edlund, who handled the effects for films such as Ghostbusters, Die Hard, and many more.
Wow, it's nice to see this again! This brings back memories. :)
Now if only I could find the Mike Eisner intros again. ;)

I wanna see this film again.
The only parts I can remember are they had these cool weights, and cool cafeteria tables.
