Having seen Jane's live 9 times, 7 of those shows with the original line up in it's heyday, I kinda know what I'm talking about. They still deliver...Par excellence!

You guys clearly do not know your Janes shit. So long as we're all referring to the video on this page, the "Been Caught Stealing" video... 1. It is *NOT* in a "lower key". 2. The vocals are spot on, as is everything else. 3. Perry may be nearing 50 but he's still kicking untouchable ass. 3. Eric Avery is one of the best rock bassists of all time. Perhaps to me even THE greatest.

I agree w/ everything you said except, the song is in a lower key now because Perry can't hit the real high register....BUT, they do still shred though!

not yet, he'll be 50 in about a week. BUT SO WHAT! he still has the vocal range to sing them higher. that's what I don't understand. he still hits the high notes. it's not about age or 'losing his voice'. he still wails.
