...i was raised in domestic violence and we had a music box that used to play this theme. to listen to this song again brings back a barrage of mixed feelings..i feel the romance, but i know the images that surround this theme within my mind, and causes great conflict. it's almost as if we could compile a video of a man beating a woman to death in slow motion while this song plays in the background. yes, i know what it sounds like. that's what i see though. is there love in the world at all?
