Robin's song isso beautiful and I love listening to it...however, the rapper portions are very detracting and beneath Robin's caliber of music (imo), as well as the "artistic" girl... her makeup is vway over the top and quite distracting as well... the artistic diretor tried too hard to be creative. I think he failed. But if you close your eyes the beautiful song and voice of Robin comes through.

I`ve just heard about Robin buying a new house in Florida. I think the relationship with Barry is in a bad way still. He did not want to live near Barry, (as he sold his home on the same street as Bary)any longer. I don`t think we will ever see them two on stage together again!

I think the story is that he has had a fear of that house for 5 years because he can see the hospital where Maurice died from there, I think if Robin is in Florida he will talk to Barry, as the official line is that they do talk and, but we won't be able to find out either way, just guess or go by what Barry has said recently, which is that they have talked, and Robin says they are both involved with that musical!

His vocal got better with age, listen to some of the songs recorded the year before if you need reassuring, this was recorded in 2002, watch the Bee Gees concert from summer 2001 and that will change you're mind.

I don't really think its too over produced especially the lead vocal, which is raw, many of the songs on Magnet weren't, because it was a bit of a test the water quick album in all honesty, but come off it, listen to things first and then make a critical judgement, step back.

Yes, but I am not counting the album as a serious release. It was a covers album, that was only promoted on Bee gees web pages.

To answer the people saying Robin hasn't released anything new since 2003, the simple answer is, he had, he released a whole christmas album and a download single last year.

And he is working on his new album which will be relased in November this year, 2 years between albums is pretty normal really as the christmas one was released in late (obviously) 06, so don't worry.

You can blame the music Industry for that. Once you find success and reach a certain age (anywhere over 35), the Industry puts you out to pasture, even if you still have talent left.

As for new music, I think he's still trying to recover from Mo's death. Mo cowrote & coproduced most of the song both Rob and Barry recorded.

I think Robin has not released any music since 2003 because of Maurice's death. After all, he was not only Robin's brother, but also his twin brother ... they would have been very close, and it would take a long time to recover from his death, or at least start to recover from.

After Mo died, it was revealed how Robin and Barry have been bitter rivals ever since the 1969 break up. I want to find out about the occassions when Robin has quit the band. I`m guessing, that maybe something happened during the still waters sessions, as people question why Barry dominates the album, and also the fact, that it took 4 years to complete!
