  • Great piece on grafting peach!

I am looking at doing this in the spring!

Q-The sealer-what is the commercial name and where can I get it?

Q-The tool to make the knotch-homemade or once again any info where to purchase?

Q-Any info on storing dormant wood is appreciated!

Would you consider showing a graft after one years growth?

  • Thanks,from the Türkiye

  • Thanks for an educational video, will be nice if you can post it the result. I live in northern california, when will be a good time to graft a apricot tree?

  • I've never seen anyone use a hammer while grafting...I hope it works out

  • our soil water and plants get tested as well...

  • @ahorganics That wasn't ment to be a crack at you, it was a crack at USDA they let stuff slip to much but I see your guys are both like me, sorry if that came off wrong.

Here in Capay Valley we got whiped out bye freeze this winter :( howd you guys fair?

  • Yea but sadly almost anyone can become USDA certified organic if they can use a pen CCOF actually comes and test our soil, water and plants

  • how does this still stay organic and chemical free with that tar in between them?

  • the plant doesn't ingest the tar for 1, and they make organic grafting compound it works better than bee's wax.

  • oh, hm. well either way, its still better than non-organic. =]
