@FunAndOnly this park is good because its clean the workers actually want to help u and theres a wide selection of flat rides judging by ur name ur used to mega coasters this isnt a thrill park its a family park and theres something for everybody the amount of rollercoasters doesnt make a park great if anything all of those giant thrill parks r boring because its all lines

@Fudgebegood if u ever gone to cedar point only a few of the big rides (millennium, dragster, maverick, raptor) have large lines dumbass, which makes everything else around 15 minutes or less, usually less, dumbass. go kill urself no one likes u

kennywood is a classic american amusement park. i've gone every year since i was like 3. now i'm almost 13. the thunderbolt is like the best coaster ever, even though it isn't the tallest or fastest. and not to mention kennywood's potato pacth has the best fries ever!

I went to Kennywod for the first time last July and I have to say I had the best time on the Racer and the Thunderbolt. Speed and height, don't always equal the best ride. I wish there was a park like Kennywood with it's historic charm in Florida.

the phantom has nine hills ...compared to the hills on the thunderbolt the phantom outnumbered it.......but you jave to give both rollercoasters credit they are both scary......and yet still thrilling!!

I believe the starting and finishing points of this ride were built in the 20's, but the middle part, which is after the chainlift, was built in the 60's. Nevertheless, it's a great traditional coaster!

The fries with garlic sauce at Cedar Point and the fries with gravy sauce at Kennywood are the best I've ever had. Don't forget to walk across the courtyard to get your drink at Kennywood.

When I was there, they weren't serving sodas at the fry stand at that time (maybe the soda fountains were broken at that time) so I had to walk to the next stand to get my soda which was the Tower Refreshment Stand if I remember correctly.

no, you don't standard engineering specs for amusement rides (roller coasters) says that you cannot have a distance any lesser than 9 feet between the top of a ride car or riders feet and any other ride or structure, sorry for the long explanation

It was once the Pippin, which was built in the '20s, but the Thunderbolt itself didn't come around until the '60s.

Great video - this ride is faster and scarier than it looks on film, though. The initial drop out of the loading station is a bit of a shock if you don't know it's coming!
