@sleepingboar hey, I just met Darrell last week. He is an amazing guitarist and singer and great performer. He talked on how he writes his songs and he says "I dont really know, its something that's just there. I cant describe it, its just something that comes to me." only heard about him a few weeks ago and he came to my college to play a few songs and talk to us all. we then later went for a few pints. He is very humble and down to earth.
Interesting that he's playing it down two steps in D minor here. Pretty sure that almost all of this drop-D arrangement is improvved on the spot, based on all the past shows I've seen.
I can never get enough solo Darrell Scott. Thanks for posting this.
