Wow, I tried absolutely everything EXCEPT taking the edge block and sending it around. It was destroying my brain. Then again, I was baked, so thinking outside the box was challenging. Plus walkthroughs couldn't help since I already tried on my own, therefore messing up the starting position

You collect all the heart pieces too. You can find out the locations from the fortune teller for asking the fortune of love (heart pieces)
