@sofulprogress What you could have heard probably happened at the time she was caring for her mom and pop who were very ill. I think both eventually died. That was one of the reasons she went into seclusion for 10 years. Her career went on hold for that long to care for family members. My hat's off to her, putting love before self. Not too many entertainers would do that.
Anita's music is contagious and addicting , I just can't get enough of her voice. It's so powerful, moving and soothing. She's like comfort to my ears . . .ahhh!
