Looking at the "get info" in Itunes (after I have converted to an m4a and renamed to an m4r file), it still says that my file is an "m4a" file. For example, it is titled "filename.m4r.m4a". I assume this is incorrect. Any ideas on how to get around this?
After having the same problem, I looked it up online and found;
Find the folder where your file is located click on tools/folder options/view and make sure that the option for "Hide extensions for known files" is UNCHECKED!
i did that and now it shows up in my ringtone folder and now when i go to the ihone under decices and then ringtone.. i dont see the ringtones and also i dont see them on my iphone... why?
hey sum 1 help i doit all on auducity then when i convert it in itunes it converts to a mpeg4 file is this because my iphone is 1.1.3 plz plz plz help
This is video is great... but I tried the 2nd method and it isn't working. I am able to convert to aac, change the file to an m4r (delete out the old aac files), then re-import it. Once it is back in Itunes, it does not show up in my ringtones folder. I have the newest version of Itunes and the firmware is correct.
