  • why didnt u show how to store it!????????

  • Good, I like that you share this video, I wish success always hydrogen storage tank i create a vacume in the hydrogen generator with a explosion proof accumulator pump used in the automotive paint ind.

  • Nice Video That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You hydrogen storage tank i create a vacume in the hydrogen generator with a explosion proof accumulator pump used

  • I Really Like The Video From Your but first i had to oil the propane tank on the inside so as to minimize contact with the steel wich the tank is made of

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing hydrogen storage tank

  • I'm not sure that hydrogen will store in a metal tank for very long concidering it will absorb and expel right through steel

  • This video demonstrated nothing. I congatulate you on maybe doing something, but please remove this waste of 81,000 people's time from the internet.

  • @colluvium1 you know you don't have to watch it.. i know i did not watch yours !!

  • you do realise you dont need to use a complicated seperator when using a hydrolysis method? The posative electrode emits hydrogen while the negative anode emits oxygen. So just seperate the two and share a common water bath. I got the idea from a fish aquarium that had a transfer tube to another aquarium of equal size. I believe submarines also use this technology to create oxygen while underwater for extended amount of time. Do not quote me on that was just told.

  • @powerzap69 it is true they use this for O2 unter water

  • @tnhl 77 so im curious how you separate the hydrogen from the oxygen? I know hydrogen is lighter then air and will rise above the oxygen. For car use hydrogen isn't very practical, but for home cooking and heating it could become a necessity in the future.

  • @powerzap69 well you use electrodes to make this from water so H hydrogen comes from the negitive side and Oxygen comes from the positive side

  • @powerzap69 you need a way to separate the electrodes enough that the individual gasses rise off each and are captures indepndantly. Basically making gaseous H on its own via this method is less efficient then collecting all the gas as one off the cell (hho) but its a lot safer to store pure H as opposed to highly explosive hho (which can self ignite in as little as 2bar of pressure)

  • @lynel1985 actually hho is stable under 550 deg. and at least up to 2500 psi as i have found out. I'm not sure at what pressure HHO reaches that temperature. my first experiments were with a seperated electrode bath, to isolate the two gasses.

  • @powerzap69 im not going to argue if you have tried it its just soemthing i read and didnt feel safe compressing it. 2BAR and 2500PSI is hugely different, so i dare say 2bar is awfully wrong if you've gotten to 2500psi.

  • How does this have so many views? It's just a propane tank that is possibly filled with hydrogen.

  • @gakio12 this video is 3 years old

  • yes i am shure we can make it hold hho

  • Shoot it!

  • @stickmanpwner64 no use it !!!!!!!!!! to heat your home and run your car

  • @stickmanpwner64

Shooting doesn't do anything, it just pierces it. You need to have a open flame near it when you shoot it for it to explode

  • How do we 62,000 people know there is really Hydrogen in there? What if it is an empty tank or contains CO2? Then we are all tricked!

  • @alyosha24601 all i can show is what i have accomplished so far the hydrogen gas is invisable, and when released will go about 30 mph up into the atmosphere un like gasoline vapor wich will hover around and create a very dangerous situation!! why we use it ? money for the big oil co.

  • @alyosha24601 come over to my shop when we stop using oil and i will show u how we do it

  • @alyosha24601 u are all tricked not by me but by big oil co's who have been supressing this technology for the last 200 years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @myrcjunkyard How is this suppressed technology if it's well known? It's about simple consumer economics and acceptance, not some grand conspiracy.

Also, hydrogen as it's being used is not an energy source, it's a way to store energy.

  • @alyosha24601 u tell me what cost more a gallon of gasoline oi a glass of water

  • @alyosha24601 give me a baloon and i will fill it with useable hho gas

  • very interesting considering that hydrogen can only be made by Electrolysis. So you are not telling the truth

  • look at my other vids if u think so

  • @tigerklink yes it is made by Electrolysis, 8th grade knowledge.

  • I run 60/40 in mine....

Compressed air of 60% and 40% HHO... less volatile and more workable...

  • I would like to know more on the pressurize of the tank with hho

  • Please make a video on how to store hydrogen "safely"..

    Great Vid... thanks.

  • What is the air speed velocity of a fully laden swallow carrying a hydrogen tank?

  • a british or a french swallow?

  • Well, I don't know that! Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!

  • Its African or European swallow.

  • how many coconuts dose the hydrogen tank way?

  • @wethecom You can't spell you doofus!

  • Hi, I have been following Hydrogen cells and storage. Would be better for supply on demand system. I am a gas engineer so be cautious, one mistake could be yours and your homes last.

  • im at 100 psi per tank up grading to a 700 psi fuel cell tank. to fill propane tanks good work

  • I'd like to know how you store the hydrogen. Can you make a video about your compressor, etc?

  • e-mail me direct

  • myrcjunkyard, could you PLEASE reply here or send me a personal message explaining where I can aquire the accumulator pump you used to compress the Hydrogen into that tank? I have been searching desperately to find out how to actually compress hydrogen into empty propane tanks and you're the only source I've found. Please tell me how to do this and what exactly I need. Thank you very very very very (very x 18 more times) much!! :)

  • Hydrogen cant be compressed passed 25ps with out being liquified first or it goes BOOM.

  • I think you mean Acetylene not Hydrogen.

  • Hmmm? Nice tank, what's it doing?

  • metal hydried tanks are best for stoage they dont go boom

  • how did you separate the oxygen from the hydrogen????????? also, how did u build pressure to make the tank fill up?????

  • have a hydrogen cell with high electrolyte salts, and have a separator plate so the two gases dont mix, and they rise and are seperate, and then take a little air compressor for tires, and feed it into the intake of compressor, 250 psi.

    Hope it helps,

    Ben

  • ha ha, no wonder your name is "basement"ben.

  • Yay> ^_^

  • so basically it is a cell above a cell, and the cell on top only filters the air?

  • Well, hydrogen comes off the negative plate, and oxygen comes off the positive plate. So have the plates seperated, and put a divider in beetween the plates. So then the hydrogen can rise and not mix with the oxygen. So it would be pure and not explode. I hope that works, thanks.

    Ben

  • so basicly you have 5 negative plates then a non conductive middle plate to separate the positive from the negative, and 5 positive plates? does it have to have the same water source? the bottom has to be open while the top is separated? like -----=+++++?

  • No, I might have a different viewpoint, lol.

Say you have two plates like simple normal. ANd they both make hydroxy. So if you space the plates, you can prevent the gases from mixing, and you get a hydrogen side, and an oxygen side. And you can collect them without them mixing the gases. Sounds good, always happy to help.

    Ben

  • What is the easy material in the market to make the center plate? Thanks

  • Is this for the cell with the dividers? If so, I would suggest a plexiglass, or cheap plastic sheets bought from a supplier. :)

    Ben.

  • Ben, The distilled water or tap water will work because the conductivity is low? or has to add salt? Thanks

  • Oh yes, Conductivity must be really high for this to work. Plates are far apart, must have high salts, such as NaOH or baking soda.

  • I recently discovered that you can buy carbon fiber paintball tanks for relatively cheap if you just wanted to try and experiment with a small motor. My question is, how do you separate the hydrogen and the oxygen?

  • Electrolysis. I would not store hydrogen and oxygen in the same container. Browns gas as it's called has been known to explode with little stimulus while being stored.

  • of course not, storing them in the same tank would be suicide. my question is, how do you put the hydrogen in one tank, and the oxygen in another?

  • No need to store the oxygen in a tank. There is plenty enough of it in the atmosphere.

As for how they are separated, in electrolysis hydrogen forms at one electrode and oxygen at the other. If you keep the electrodes separate, you can devise a way for the bubbles to bubble up into a cup or container.

  • why wood u put that on

  • are you putting only hydrogen in there, and storing it at freezing ass temps

  • how do you go about pressurizing the tank with the hydrogen?

  • How many pounds of Hydrogen does the tank hold? Do you know how many sqare feet a pound might be at say sea level and 70 degrees F?

  • this tank has pure hydrogen, the oxygen is stored in another tank for my oxy & acc torch set ,the hydrogen gas under pressure and regulated from the tank will burn with the power of a torch by reacting with the oxygen in the air !no need to make it any more powerfull than it has to be,thank you for your thoughts

  • I see you are extracting hydrogen and oxygen from water, are you also trying to store them together in this tank? If so, This is very very dangerous . It would be ok to store Hydrogen but together are highly explosive. A tiny static discharge inside would go boom in a very big way if this is HHO. I would really research this further. Scary stuff

  • yes i had looked into the carbon fiber tanks , but they have a aluminum core and the carbon fiber is layed out on the outside so the hydrogen will come in contact with the aluminum. i set the pressure at 200 lb just to be safe the tank i used is rated at 350 lb . please look at my other vids, they will explane how i made the gas ,

  • I've taken a look at some CNG tanks used for natural gas vehicles and while most of the older ones were plain steel or fiberglass wrapped around aluminum; there are some newer ones that are all composite. Most CNG tanks should be able to hold 3600PSI easily

The company Lincoln Composites is one manufacturer I know that makes all composite tanks for natural gas vehicles. If I remember, the Natural Gas powered Civic GX uses fuel tanks from this company.

  • yuandrew, do you think diving tank for hydrogen is any good? they hold a lot pressure, I have seen a company use 4 diving tank convert to HH tank, Thanks

  • carbon fiber tanks are the best, the natural gas tanks resist 3000 PSI and are available in almost every contry. had you mesured the presure? how did you produce the H2?(search 4 multifuel DVD in torrents isohunt . com

  • get it to that pressure(3,000 lb) and it turns into liquid hydrogen , that is what gets the space shuttel out of earths orbit:0

  • 3000psi will not liquify hydrogen without chilling.

  • Careful! Hydrogen reacts with common metals frequently making them brittle. I'd had to see you have an undetectable leak and catch fire.

  • ok thanks for the input , what do you recomend using for hydrogen storage ,maybe a acetyiene tank perhaps?i have noticed that the hydrogen will breake down the aluninum metal after some time .

  • Don't know, I'm not a metalurgist, but I have widely heard it's a bad idea. I have heard of composites being used/developed.

  • mabe one will see this and tell us a better way to store itfor now I can just use the hydrogen as it forms

  • That's the nice part of the current designs out there, using 'on demand' production. Safer all around I think.
